We stayed at Melba House for 2 nights in Dame Joan suite for a birthday celebration, which met all our expectations. Sue is a charming hostess going out of her way for your comfort and well being, Breakfasts are to die for prepared with style ,fresh ingredients and generous servings. A quiet place to relax and forget the problems of...

This B & B changed our whole view of this form of accommodation. Our stay was wonderful. Melba's is located a short walk from the main shopping area, so restaurants, shops and the Hop on Hop Off bus stops are so close you won't even need your car. But it is just far enough away to be so quiet. The...

A beautiful B&B full of character and thoughtful touches to make our stay memorable. Warmly greeted by our hostess Sue and her dog Issy nothing was too much trouble. Our room, Dame Joan, was extremely comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Cake was on hand in the foyer to have with a cup of tea or plunger coffee. Or a glass of...

We couldn't have been better looked after by our wonderful host Sue who made our stay so comfortable. She goes the extra mile to provide snacks, home made cakes and an excellent range of teas and coffee options as well as port in your room. In addition we were treated to a range of fresh towels each day of our...

Enjoyed 2 nites here. Great hiking and stunning scenery and wildlife. Sue is a wonderful hostess and no detail is too small for her complete attention. She made us feel totally at home in every way. Her breakfast of spinach, mushrooms and feta over toast was out of this world! She is full of information about the area and will...

We had the most beautiful arrival following our wedding last April into a warmly lit, luscious room. The biggest and comfiest bed one could imagine, a scene of romance with extra touches including a bottle of bubbles and a personalised card from our host. Couldn't recommend Melba House highly enough for a couple seeking a romantic weekend away. And the...

The room had thoughtful complementary items (including chocolate chip cookies!) which made the stay all the more delightful. Our room was beautifully designed, clean and comfortable. Our host (Anita) was highly approachable and professional - and a divine cook to-boot! We will definitely be staying again.

Perfect experience for a mini babymoon. We stayed in the lovely Dame Nellie suite and enjoyed relaxing in the room watching dvd's during one of the rainy days. Sue made us feel very welcome & it was a pleasure to have breakfast on the lovely verandah each morning. The location was perfect for a heavily pregnant woman to stroll into...

A wonderful kid-free three nights in complete comfort. Sue and Issy make a great team with Issy in charge of meet and greet (she is a lovely four-legged host) and Sue (a very friendly human) covering everything else. Breakfasts served in the room were superb. The room itself (the Nellie suite) was divine - spacious and luxurious and extremely comfortable....

Thank you Lisa and Richard for choosing Melba House for your 'escape from the hectic city life' to the peaceful beautiful Blue Mountains. Being only one and half house from Sydney makes it the perfect place to come for rejuvenation. Lovely fresh air and great bush walks followed by some great restaurants to enjoy at night then to relax in...
