This used to be a music venue. Sadly, the music has died, replaced by the constant noise of creaking floorboards. Any ambiance guests used to enjoy when staying at a friendly old guesthouse has gone. The bar does not operate and the continental breakfast was hardly worth bothering with. Our bed belonged in the Powerhouse Museum, save your self a...

The current owners have really let this place go. I have stayed here periodically since I was a child but those memories will need to move on. The guest house was dark and cold It was close to winter and they didnt want to light the fire presumably to save wood. When they did it was only going for an...

Stayed overnight here in the guesthouse. I originally booked the motel but the staff called prior and advised of an upgrade due to double booking. The upgrade was a double bed instead of a queen and no air con. Some upgrade...... The bed was horrible, it was noisy as the centuries old floorboards creaked and you could hear everyone else...

The old part of this hotel was dirty. We got upgraded when we proved we had bed bugs in my son's bed. The newer part of the hotel was a lot cleaner. Would not recommend, sorry. We did enjoy the classical music at breakfast.

This guest house maybe ideal for backpackers that want to go to the Blue Mountains (that are a 10 or 15 minute walk away) and that have some money to spend. The hotel is in need of some serious refurbishment. The breakfast is very basic although it is complimentary provided in with the basic room price. The bar was not...

The pictures of this building do it no justice, we are happy with the rooms it has everything we needed for our family and includes a free breakfast, the heating is great and the rooms were great value, as far as I'm concerned, it is a great value place to stay. The main street is in walking distance So Thankyou...

The location was great, close to township with quirky shops and restraunts a gentle stroll to the three sisters. The room was clean but bland and sadly in need of update. Shower head held together with electrical tape, tap dripped constantly. The bed was a slab of granite but clean and warm. Staff very keen to help and please but...

Just a note about the Clarendon - what a brilliant hotel with great service. The bedroom was immense- airy large and the bed was perhaps the best hotel bed Ive ever slept in - It was strong but soft...not sure what mattress type etc but it was fabulous. The only negative for me was the fried eggs for breakfast ......

Stayed only one night thankfully all the Staff were excellent. Standard of food excellent. What let the hotel down was the accommodation. It would have been fine for a person who was 5ft and a size 0 but for anyone taller and a larger size not comfortable. I paid £125.00 for the night. The was just okay but unfortunately not...

We stayed at the Clarendon guest house during the school holidays for one night while my husband had to come up to Katoomba for work. This was the only place left in the area that had a large enough room to cater for us and our 3 children. I had read the reviews and it was what it said, a...
