Bathrooms are way too limited with a queue present most of the time. Hostel staff all looked unfriendly. Also, I visited in the coldest time of the year and the heaters were weak so we freezing! However, the layout of the hostel was great with good location. Also liked that there was breakfast, free coffee and tea.

I just needed a place to crash in the mountains to avoid going back a long way to Sydney. The place is not my ideal but for a backpacker I think it is quiet a good place and a value for money. The owner is witty and pleasant to talk to, very friendly and easy going, rooms are neat and very...

A fantastic independent hostel which will welcome you with open arms. The hostel is located near a Dan Murphys and a Coles which is convenient for most backpackers. It's also close to the train station too! The rooms are perhaps a little dated. It could do with some new carpet perhaps but I sensed that they were renovating anyway as...

I worked for my accommodation at the Fox for two weeks and wish I didn't have to leave! I had such a great time here and met some amazing people. The location is great with so many great walks that you can do in the area and close to the train station and shops. The social time every night means...

This place feels a bit like home. Our first night we stayed in a tent. But it was pouring rain a few days in a row. So the owner offered us a very good double room for the same price. Because of the rain we left the next day, but came back a week later. Ross still remembers us, makes...

My partner and I stayed in a double room. Comfortable bed. Clean. Towels etc. Nice ambience. Would definitely book here again. It is close to town. Close to all the tourist sites. Has a barbecue. The owner organises a dinner every night for a small fee.
