Yes it's noisy, but I did read the reviews and was prepared for noise. Fortunately my family slept very well after a day of bushwalking. Beds were extremely comfortable. Staff were lovely. Room had everything we needed. A past reviewer said the trees outside the window in the photos were fake, but I would object. We had trees outside our...

I stayed here with my husband and two daughters (aged 12 and 1) in March for two nights. The carpark was a little frustrating to get into as its parallel parking in a tight squeeze. The motel is 10 metres from the Great Western Highway and right next to the train station so its very loud 98% of the time....

Stayed at this motel while on a work trip. The parking was too tight and difficult to negate. I woke up to knocking on my door at 9pm at night because the neighbouring patron could not get their car past mine - car parks were too tight and angled awkwardly. Very noisy at night. Constant sounds of loud motorbikes and...

Worst place to stay. Very very Noisy and not a hand towel in sight, one must wash hands in the sink or bath. Cheap and nasty would not let a dog stay here. Shower leaks and either is squirting on the roof or all over the room.

We read the reviews before we went and expected to have a dreadful night. This motel is quite old and the rooms are small, it is situated between the highway and the railway. I wouldn't want to stay there mid-week because the road and rail traffic would be horrendous but it was quiet on a Saturday night after about 10pm......

Made the mistake of not looking closely at the location. Wedged between rail line and great western highway this is the noisiest place ever, add to that a rattling air conditioner and sleep did not figure into my night. Positives are the beds are good, good tea making facilities, clean room. Sadly the water pressure in the shower was a...

This motel it's situated between the railway and the highway... Really too noisy and it was difficult to sleep. It was cold in the room when we arrived and it took long time to get warmer with the heater. There is not a good isolation so the air can pass under the door. We booked 2 nights here and the...

It is difficult to know where to start with this place but here goes. It is without doubt the noisiest accommodation I have ever stayed in so if actual sleep is important to you avoid this place. The rooms are situated 10 metres from the Great Western Highway so the lorries hurtling past your front door every few minutes sound...

Check in experience- There was no-one around for check in. The vending style machine for the room keys was broken. I phoned a number found on the reception door and was notified that my room key was in the flower pot! Location- It was on the explorer bus route, however, the bus did not stop for us as it was...

Stayed three nights. Red hop on hop off bus drops and picks up at the door, very handy for me. But the noise. Major highway one side and goods/passenger trains the other. Sleep not possible, despite being pooped, until early morning when traffic from both sides wound down. Very pleasant people, cheap and clean. Can walk to Katoomba, 10 mins....
