If you love bad customer service than I highly reckoned this place. The staff can't do enough to offend you and go above and beyond the call of duty to be difficult . Love the heritage of this place too. Highly recommend going in for lunch if you are after an authentic Faulty Towers experience, just be sure to order...

Location, staff, facilities and atmosphere plus;the Carrington delivers it all without exception. The property is located on one of Katoomba's main streets so you can leave your car parked for the duration of your stay and there are plenty of local transport options to supplement just going for a stroll. The Katoomba train station is located immediately adjacent to the property so the...

We get back to the Carrington annually in the off season. We've tried other places in Katoomba in the past and whilst some of them are great, none are memorable and we just find ourselves wishing for the tranquility of the carrington again. Park the car and don't touch it agin - no need as everything is within a short...

A great getaway with awesome service (especially from Carl at reception). The Carrington's old world charm is superb and delivers just that, from check in to check out. High tea here is scrumptious and the added bonus of a great continental breakfast in the morning included in the price is the perfect start to the day. Please Carrington don't ever...

Unfortunately the weather was not agreeable the night I arrived. Rain was pelting down and all I really wanted to do was get warm and dry. Just a short walk from the railway station but by the time I negotiated the grand driveway and staircase with rain cascading downwards at me, the old world charm had faded. Really could have...

Stayed overnight- a beautiful heritage building with old world charm. Rooms are clean and well furnished with coffee/ tea making facilities. The lift is a blast from the past- a unique building - well restored!

My partner and I wanted to see Katoomba and what it has to offer. It has been at least 10 years since my last visit and not much has changed other than new shopping mall. The Carrington is a very old restored hotel. We parked 25 m from front entrance, checked-in were given some information about breakfast area, our room...

Lovely old hotel situated in the heart of Katoomba. We had a large double with room with very modern facilities. Beautiful leaded glass in the windows, air-conditioning, fridge and large TV made for a comfortable stay, not that we were in the room all that long. Excellent service and all the staff we met were helpful and friendly.

Beautiful quant historic place to stay. Centrally located for all of Katoomba's best eating houses. Very well priced for the wonderful experience. Great bar, library, snooker room and well preserved history. We would defiantly stay again - perhaps as an annual long weekend retreat.

It's a nice hotel, with large rooms. We were on the first floor in a room with no a/c. Thankfully it was not too hot while we there. Generally the hotel is not in great condition, threadbare carpets, damaged paintwork etc. The staff uniforms look dated & a little sad! Breakfast was no more than so-so. Lots of photographs of...
