I stayed here for one night in a private room with a bathroom and I really liked it. The room was basic but that's what you would expect from a hostel. It was really clean and light and they gave you towels and tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was a lovely treat after staying in dorms for a...

Stayed in a private double room (travelling with a baby) for two nights, fully recommend. Great location (next to shops, short drive to Echo point, short walk to walking trails). Staff was very helpful, crib for baby was free, rooms and all facilities very clean, beds comfy. Excellent value for money.

Had a wonderful week here at YHA KATOOMBA, staff are helpful and friendly. Hostel has a lovely outdoor Terrance, great kitchen facilities and rooms are of a good standard. Close to local shops and restaurants and also close to nature walks, approximately 30 mins walk to three sisters and outlook point. Would definitely stay again.

This YHA is in a former guest house and has retained a lot of the art deco features so it has a great atmosphere and a bit of personality. We stayed in a double with private bathroom for 2 nights and, apart from no aircon it was a great budget option. The kitchen was well equipped but as this is...

This was our first experience in a YHA and we were a little sceptical. We were very pleasantly surprised.. We had a private room with our own bathroom, both very basic buy clean and comfortable. We were very impressed with the common facilities, kitchen, etc., the range of utensils and kitchen space and cleanliness were amazing. The front office staff...

Lovely old building with lots of communal space. Huge kitchen that was always clean and sofas for relaxing in the evening. Room was a bit on the small side and got quite warm at night. Free wifi in rooms which was a big bonus.

We stayed for 3 nights in the private room with ensuite bathroom/toilet. Pros : 1) At the edge of the town centre. Safe environment. Seperated by a road from the town's police station. 2) 3-5 minutes walk to shopping area (Coles & Woolsworth) and town centre. 3) Rooms are clean and well maintained. 4) Staff is very friendly and can...

Hi - thanks for staying with us and glad you enjoyed it. This is a hostel, so things are a little different than at a hotel - the rooms aren't serviced daily like a hotel room. This is one of the ways that costs can be contained and the mix of shared rooms and other facilities like the kitchen can...

Checked in late with ease with a door code & key card left at reception. Stayed in the Queen with ensuite for 4 nights (bed comfy, clean bedding & towels, soap, tv, heating, fan, kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, small desk & chair, coat hangers for short hanging, lots of hooks and rails for wet towels, & the bathroom was...

We stayed here before doing a trip with high n wild which was fantastic by the way. I had never stayed in a youth hostel before, I thought it was just for the kids. But I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms and bedding were clean and we had an ensuite which was clean. The kids had a separate room without...
