I stayed there only 2 nights but eill remember this stay and the lovely personnel as one of the most delightful on my travels! Really relaxed and family like atmosphere. When I first entered I asked about hikes, etc in the area and she gave me advise about free campsites without me even asking!! Not money oriented, just really caring... More

Kym & Mandy hit it out of the park at No.14. The hostel felt more like home. It was peaceful, clean, in close proximity of all the sites and hikes in Katoomba. After a good 4-5 hour hike, it was a calm place to recover and head out on another hike the next day. Kym is so kind, knowledgable and... More

Stayed in this hostel last week after spending time in the blue mountains. It's a really Lovley place with a friendly host who makes you feel at home straight away. The rooms are cosy and there's also a lounge to chill in, as well as a large Miranda outside with chairs and sofas. It was a really enjoyable relaxing stay... More

Myself and partner stayed 3 nights at No 14, this were just the right amount of time. We had a double room, which had a lovely seating area where we could look out the window at the views. The hostel itself was beautiful and clean, you immediately felt right at home. The lady at reception helped us plan our walking... More

Really enjoyed my stay at No14. The hostel is homely and a very relaxing place to spend time. It was quiet for sleeping as most people were up early to go walking. The staff were very friendly and happy to provide advice on things to do in the area. I stayed in a dorm room which was spacious, clean and... More

Simple, quiet accommodation. We arrived late and left early, so I can't speak to much other than the bed was old but comfortable and the linens clean. Towels were provided upon request. I was not sure about the breakfast, so we didn't have any. We stayed in a double bed room on the first floor, which seemed a touch cold... More

Great location near Katoomba train station, a small hill but is still only 5 minutes' walk away. Reception staff were rather welcoming and kind. Showers (the hot water supply is good) and toilets and kitchen are pretty standard, breakfast was generally available as guests needed it and is just tea & coffee & cereal with milk in the fridge, but... This place is our favourite budget accommodation in Katoomba. It's clean and the building is well maintained which is hard to find in Katoomba. A simple breakfast is included. This is a quiet place good for families. Not a party spot.
