Got a few nights here on Luxury Escape deal and it was good value. Yes, as noted in some other reviews, you have to carry your bags upstairs (actually the manager did offer to carry my wife's, but she's a trooper), and, yes, the floorboards do creak a bit (but if you're in the right frame of mind that just...

A spontaneous trip to the Blue Mountains led us to the Palais Royale. We really liked it here. Spacious, comfortable room. It was a heatwave and the air conditioning computer seemed to rebel, but management worked it out for us eventually. Great place to relax after hiking.

The wife and I found the Executive King suite to our liking which included a large bathroom and ample open space in the main room. Very clean. The Palais was very close to amenities (Aldi/Coles), coffee shop and restaurants. The front desk service was satisfactory. Off-street parking was good. The sauna and spa opened at 12 noon and shut at...

Paid $257 for one nightmare. Bed is so old pillows old as well. Woken up few times in the night felt few things crawling on me itchy here and there. Floor boards creaking, door doesnt shut properly have to push hard so it will shut well else anyone can just push it open. Smells so old when you come in....

Friendly staff (Ron & Yana), good location, in the middle between the valley and the train station. The staff would help you as much as they can. The rooms are nice but the shower head is too low. In general, it's a good hotel

Room was large and decent and the beds were comfortable. Air conditioning was a little noisy but bearable. Bathroom was basic but clean. Plenty of parking. We didn't eat breakfast as we ate in the town - there are many cafes/restaurants within a 5-10 min walk. Palais Royale was a convenient base for exploring the area. We strayed for 2...

Hotel room was small and pokey. Breakfast only goes till 8:30am so if you enjoy a sleep in, you'll miss it like we did! Clean and tidy, very quiet.... The hotel is old but beautiful. Take a wander and check out the grand ballroom and it's great view over the Jamison Valley.

I arrived with a business colleague as I wanted to show him Katoomba and the Three Sisters. The Hotel rooms were well maintained and in very good condition. The check in process was easy and we enjoyed our stay at the property.

I stayed with my family for two nights. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The lovely gentleman at reception carried my bag and showed me to my room. The hotel is beautiful but the rooms are quite dated and could do with a makeover. Floorboards creak quite loud which is no good if you're trying to get back in...

This hotel fit us perfectly. It is absolutely beautiful and was close to everything we wanted to see in the Blue Mountains. Our room was a little small but is is a quaint hotel with all the charm that you could expect. My wife and I enjoyed sitting in the area immediately in front of the hotel with a drink...
