This is a delightful place to stay in Katoomba. Difficult to add anything to the other reviews. Lovely room-four poster bed, spotlessly clean, spa bath, lovely furnishings and nicely appointed. Big mulberry tree outside the bedroom window (mulberries served at breakfast too).We had a hire car but Lurline House is within walking distance of the three sisters and restaurants in...

This is beautifully restored home , peaceful gardens with water features + lovely cool climate weeping trees, lovely interior colours. The breakfast room & exercise is a treat...with Peter cooking over his twin jet stove...there are an extensive range of cereals, porridges, condiments etc. Guest can use small space in the refrigerator. The double decker red bus 'hop on '...

My Husband and I visited the Blue Mountains and Katoomba Dec 1-4, 2013. Were upgraded to the Lurline cottage by Peter and Suzanne when we asked to book another night. We are so grateful that they made room for us and made our last 3 nights in Australia so memorable. The warmth and hospitality and professionalism shown by both Peter,...

Reading other reviews here, there's not much more to add. We were in the room next to the dining room, which was spacious, cool when the outside temperature hit 36C and warm when it dropped, the following day, to 4C! The bathroom is large and well appointed and the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was as good as they come, and...

Two nights' stay at Lurline Guesthouse. It was a comfortable and cosy, but somehow the warmth and hospitality expected from a b&b seemed to be missing. -Complimentary pick-up service at katoomba station. Do make the necy arrangements beforehand. For the return trip, make your own arrangements. We lugged our luggage and walked for 20mins from the guesthouse to the station....

We recently spent a weekend at Lurline House in Katoomba, a quaint little B&B full of charm and character. the weather was unseasonably cold with temperatures below 10 degrees in late November. We had read many excellent reviews for this property so had high expectations. The house is set in a residential street about 5 minutes drive from the main street...

First off, the rooms are very well appointed and extremely comfortable after a long day's hike. There are movies available to watch, port to sip and a very comfortable atmosphere. However, for us, the star of the stay was the breakfast spread in the morning. By far the most delicious, expansive and inviting breakfast we had during the entire Australian...

We were lucky to be upgraded to the cottage. A lovely and pleasant accomodation with a big kitchen, a living room, a veranda, bathroom with spa and also a garden with bbq facility. Only Poirot was missing... The owners were so kind and ready to help you to plan your journey. The breakfast included with the room was deliciously cooked...

We had planned to spend three nights in Sydney, followed by three nights in Katoomba. The horrific bushfires at the time of our holiday led to us delaying our visit to Katoomba by a day as we waited to see if this town would be impacted. Peter from Lurline House was in regular contact and actually encouraged us to delay...

Excellent B & B, with excellent service from Peter & Suzanne and their staff. They make you feel at home. If you like a more personalised place to stay this is it. Rooms are lovely each with its own character, comfortable beds & pillows. Close to all the main attractions of the beautiful Blue Mountains. Have your camera ready for...
