We had a 2-room cottage all to ourselves on the property adjacent to the main building so it was really lovely and private. The decor was very pleasant and cozy; place was absolutely spotless and thoughtfully equipped (washing machine, dryer, dishwashing machine, ironing board, iron, pots, pans, cutlery, plates etc!). Location would be really good in better weather where you...

Very well located (at walking distance from Echo Point), Lurline House is really pleasant. Hosts are charming and service is excellent (the owner went in car to he train station to drop our luggage). Our room was quite small, but really nothing to complain about. We slept on a heated mattress, which is very pleasant because the room is not...

Our group of 14 booked into Lurline House for the first weekend in August. We occupied all 7 rooms. Lovely house, well thought out to please every guest. Each room had a lovely character and very clean. Peter and his team are very professional to deal with. The breakfasts on both mornings had lots of variety, well presented and enjoyed...

As good as it gets. We stayed in some 15 different hotels during our trip and this was the best in so many ways. The welcome, the help/knowledge/the room/hospitality/breakfast. The family take great pride in what they have to offer and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. It's within walking distance of the sights and also Katoomba Town Centre (a...

I've just had my fourth stay at Lurline House, this time in the adjacent two-bedroom cottage. When you go back a fourth time, it's a testament to the excellent service and hospitality afforded by Peter and his lovely family. The rooms are spotlessly clean, cozily warm (I've been each time through the winter months), and there is always the most...

Stayed here for 2 nights with my hubby and son. Lovely friendly couple run the B&B, arrived to tea and cake - always a nice touch. Wonderful breakfast, clean room with a lovely bath (I hate showers). Very helpful offering advice when asked. Very reasonably priced. Overall a wonderful stay.

Absolutely the best place we stayed in Australia, run by a friendly, helpful and super-professional couple. Incredibly nice rooms, tastefully decorated; a really fabulous breakfast; a great location half way between the three sisters and the centre of Katoomba.

What a delightful two nights we had at this comfortable and elegant B&B. Recommended to us by friends, we were expecting good, but it was more like fantastic. The decor, lovingly collected by the hosts, sets a warm atmosphere immediately. This was enhanced by the friendly welcome of tea and pastries and information offered by Peter. The spa room that...
