Well located hotel for Leura and Katoomba. We had a family room for 3 people. The room was quite dated, but very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was also quite dated, but again clean and functional. Breakfast was basic with hot food, cereals and bread for toast. Coffee was horrendous, but what can you expect from a machine. Overall it was...

My wife and I stayed here on 1 January for a short weekend break. Disappointed that so many restaurants were closed, including the one on the accommodation site. The room was clean and the staff tried to be helpful but seemed to have limited local knowledge of what restaurants were open over the weekend. Breakfast was pretty good and included...

- The resort has an ideal location, close to all the major tourist attractions that the blue Mountain's have to offer. - Rooms were clean and well set out. - Nice bathrooms too, but if you're up the end of the building your shower pressure will drop if others are having showers on your floor. - Buffet breakfast was part...

We had a coach load in for 4 nights and they were pleasant and friendly to the staff but there was another coach in as well and it created havoc at breakfast on one of the mornings when both coaches were leaving for the day at the same time. I would have liked to see someone actually approach and arrange...

An acceptable facility but not what we thought we had booked. With a typical motel outdoor-entrance structure, the rooms were remodeled with new furnishings, carpets and linens so that the interiors were quite nice, each with a small balcony, some overlooking a pool. The grounds were also nice, with ample trees and flowering bushes. The room rate included a full...

I booked a room via TripAdvisor holiday rentals for the Christmas period so that we could be near my family to celebrate. Waldorf took my money and then charged an overseas transaction fee. A week later I received an email from Waldorf to say there had been a mistake and the room wasn't available ... and that I needed to...

Not knowing if some of the other rooms have been updated, but for us, the room was rather disappointing. We had stayed at this hotel back in the 1980's and beside the recent upgrade of the bathroom, nothing else had changed. The bed was king size, but hard, resulting in a very uncomfortable night. The bed linen clean, but the...

I came for my friends wedding and it was an excellent set up for the number of guests who attended. The staff were friendly, especially the Irish guy at reception who was exceptionally friendly and helpful with directing me around the property. Would recommend this venue to others looking for a special place to celebrate their special day.

Booked it to surprise my husband on his birthday, asked the reception if I can pay on the day of check in, he said yes, but as soon as i put the phone down, looked at my bank statement, it appeared and debited straight away. I have to make up a lie/alibi to hubby so he wont find out my...

What a beautiful resort surrounded nhs beautiful gardens and a spectacular room with an astounding view. Breakfast was good anc the whole place was well run. Handy for Katoomba and all that's there. Visit Carrington city bank restaurant for a great steak.
