For our first trip to the Blue Mountain Region this was the perfect spot. Quiet, comfortable, and in an excellent location. A short walk from Leura and a short drive to several tourist overlooks. There is no shortage of beautiful scenery and hikes.

We loved the classically appointed house and is a must for Fawlty Towers fans or those who love the look and feel of architecture of yesteryear. (No migrating wilderbeasts thought). Close to Leura . Quiet at night and our room was well appointed and warm. We loved it.

This historic house was well maintained by current owners. It is clean and quiet. We had a comfortable stay and enjoyed our home made breakfasts. Owners are nice and friendly. The location of the house is easy to find.

We stayed at Leura house, which is a 136 year-old historic building, once a Convent, now a Bed & Breakfast. The rooms are large and clean and retro-fitted with ensuite bathrooms. To keep the building as original as possible there is no air-conditioning, but there is an effective central heating system for cooler periods. While the building has a "Fawlty...

Thank you Al for posting a kind review! Yes it is a bit like Faulty Towers with all stairways and corridors, they just don't make houses like this any more! We do get comments from time to time about making the house more modern, but we are not a hotel but a heritage listed historic guest house, and it is...

Thank you for your comments While there are all the local magazines which contain everything about what to see in the Blue Mountains, as a local, I am happy to point out the best places to see and eat that may not be on the normal tourist trail! Only stayed one night. The included continental breakfast is adequate. Beds are very comfortable even for me with a bad back. Easy walking distance to the main street of Leura. Set in a rambling old house on top of a hill.

A heritage hotel that retains all the authentic charm of early last century. . The owner was proud of how he maintained the premises. . The floor boards even squeaked in the hall for atmosphere. .
