This is in a beautiful location with a near private beach. The Owners were very helpful and easy to deal with, there local knowledge was great and help us in finding places to eat and explore. The room wasn't prefect but there was really nothing to complain about. We were there in August so it was very quiet and almost... More

the room was clean and comfortable and the seafood platter was to die for. The new hosts were very friendly as was the owners. The little Penguins were lovely to check out from a private access. We would go back again.

We stayed as a family group (2 x 2adult+2child families + a couple) in 3 different units. Each unit was relatively clean and tidy, the kitchens were well equipped (although no oven), beds were reasonably comfy. Showers are ridiculously small as the bathrooms are an ok size. Only one of the 3 DVD players in our 3 rooms actually worked.... More

The place is dirty, in dire need of renovatio and proper management, for it has none. Shame as the location was good. Penguin tour is not a tour, as we were kept at a wooden deck and were told penguins would walk pass us as they went home. I counted two, was was told by the dude (penguin guide) it... More

bueatiful local but a majour disapointment as far as quality , the room was smelly - with unwashed windows , the tv was out of order - ashtray was full of butts and water, there were numerous other problems I could mention , and to add insult to injury - the manager was extremely unproffesional and rude when pressented with... We were greeted by reception with "Don't you know check in is 2pm (it was 1:40pm)", definitely no welcome. Lady was more concerned that people that arrived at the same time as us would be sharing a room with us? Lovely beach and access to Diamond Island at low tide. The Room was spacious. Bath robes were a nice touch.... More

After travelling for two weeks and with golf we looked for somewhere to veg. out; this was the place. We had stayed before and knew the countryside, the wineries, the wilderness areas and the places to revisit and to renew. Was not so sure about the change in management with no change of bedding in a week! It was un-serviced... More

Noel & Mel are great hosts. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. Pool and decking make for beautiful surroundings in the afternoon with a beer over looking the ocean and the island. Room does need an update, but the king bed was the best. There is a pool table and games room with XBOX available. We stayed four nights... More

We were looking around for an entrance to the beach leading to Diamond Island and accidentally went into their premises. After knowing we were on the wrong way, we headed back to our car but were stopped by the lady boss & daughter halfway. After explaining we got the wrong way, we were rudely told to leave immediately, which we... More

Checked into and apartment was dirty, there were bugs dead on the bed upstairs, more dead bugs in the lounge on the floor. The glass sliding door railings were full of bugs and dust and looked as though hadn't been cleaned for months. After sending a child down to inspect the room, They changed the room which was admittedly a... More
