I found Bowerbank Mill a very nice place to stay in. It was very cozy for children. My kids enjoyed the little kids room in the Meander cottage. It was probably the most comfortable place I have ever stayed :) Breakfast was very healthy and tasty

Original brick flour mill converted into separate flats with creaky old stairs, low ceilings, and thick walls. Rooms filled with an eclectic collection of furniture, books, prints and ceramics are a world away from most other accommodation for travellers. The host, Anne, is full of useful information about the mill and about what to do in the area. She is...

Facilities were excellent, hosts were very friendly and helpful including pointing us in the direction for close attractions and for the rest of our journey. Food and drinks provided were fresh and tasty. Learning about the history of the bed and breakfast as a former mill added to the great experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bowerbank Mill, a converted georgian mill at Deloraine bursting with history. The proprietor gave us a very warm welcome and a tour of the converted mill together with information about the historic use of the building and surrounding area. The facilities within our self-contained section of the mill were of a very high standard...

Our overnight stop in Deloraine was at The Bowerbank Mill. For many years Tasmania was Australias bread basket and many flour mills such as this one converted grain to flour. The "Chimney Cottage" was swamped in memorabilia of years past. The comfort of our stay was only surpassed by the warmth of our welcome and the quality of the breakfast...

We had the 3 bedroom apartment on the top floor. The rural view from the bedrooms was so peaceful, the decor was authentic and oozed charm. Ann our hostess made us feel special, with the last of the summer roses she had saved for us, her home made preserves and cakes, the beautiful breakfast. The gallery on the groundfloor was...

My husband and I stayed at this B & B for 2 nights in the Chimney Cottage. We found it exceptionally comfortable and welcoming. The room was warmed for us, and we also lit the woodfire which made the cottage cosy. All the fittings were to match the period of the cottage but functional. On arrival we received port and...
