Stayed at this motel on January 30th 2017. Was greeted in a friendly kind manner upon arrival by the owners. Room and bed was comfortable with new AC upgrade in the room. The WIFI at this hotel is the best I have found in my month of travels in NZ and AU. Was able to finally get some work done...

The people I dealt with were friendly and very professional. the room was very clean and comfortable,The bed was considerably comfortable. the best thing was the closeness to every thing and the quietness was great. the only glitch was, and I know there was no cooking , But it would have been nice to have a micro wave, to do...

Basic and clean, yet overpriced room for a small town. Very noisy airconditioner that woke us up all night and that barely heated the room anyway (middle of winter 2 degree night). Unfriendly service and on top of room rate charged additional for WiFi per device.

I give this motel 3 and a half stars. Stayed two nights. Very conveniently located and quite comfortable. Great shower. AC units need replacing. Had a room at the back, so traffic noise not a problem. Proprietors friendly and helpful! Would stay again.

We arrived Friday afternoon reception was friendly, bar and restaurant closed at the weekend. Our room was clean and bed was comfortable. We had a spar room, as all rooms were booked out for the weekend. Shower was over the spar with no curtains and a large step into spar/shower, no hand rail. Shower was good with plenty of hot water...

Friendly owners, nice clean room, a little outdated but with a comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast which arrived with a cheerful 'good morning'. Easy walk to shops and the park. Will certainly go back again.

I stayed here with work, the staff were very accommodating helping us with getting trucks packed in the hotel. There is a BBQ available and nice pool. The rooms look like they have been renovated recently, the en-suite slightly outdated but nothing wrong with it. The bed was comfortable.

Thank Nick D

“There was a slight traffic noise and we were at the back of the inn away from the road. So I would recommend getting a room at the back of the inn as well”

“I have only stayed down the back by choice but there are plenty of rooms to choose from including family rooms as I have not yet used the pool I have not rated it ( it looks very inviting in the hot months but ) whilst there is no Fitness centre on site a brisk walk into town and back will give you the exercise that you are looking for.”
