My husband and I have staid at The Swifts twice now and is the only place we choose when staying in Lorne. The owners are beautiful and have so many great stories so be sure to stick around for the delicious champagne breakfast! The decor is full of antiques from around the world and that in itself makes the Swifts...

So many wonderful things to look at and enjoy in this home - delightful antiques that were being used and were comfortable. We were offered the choice of which room we wanted and the one we chose had a clean and comfortable (and attractive bed) and 'novel' ensuite - just delightful! The ensuite was small but adequate - our ensuite...

I felt moved to write this review after seeing the less positive ones below. My husband and I stayed at Tony's eclectic, charming home when we were touring the Great Ocean Road on our first trip to Australia and we absolutely loved it. The room was pristine and cosy, and we loved being part of Tony's world... even if just...

It hard to me to give this place 3 stars because the owner, Tony was really nice and cooked us a nice breakfast with Champagne. However, room would get less than 1 star if it was possible. So messy that you can't walk, so dusty and full of cobwebs that you don't think of the mess. Bed was comfy but...

Booked for Queens birthday weekend in 2013. Arrived and was given the rear cottage. Loose floor boards, unfinished carpentry, cobwebs, curtains that didn't close and were torn, dusty, dead flies everywhere, human hair in the bed, sheets appeared slept in and not changed and animal hair throughout the unit. Got into the car and drove back to Melbourne. Two letters...

One of the highlights of our visit to Australia. Loved the town of Lorne and loved our stay at The Swifts. Our room was very comfortable. The home was lovely and inviting. Wish we could have stayed longer. Tony made us feel very welcome and the champagne breakfast he fixed was delicious. He also gave us great advice about the...

Myself and my Girlfriend decided to do the tourist thing and travel the Great Ocean Road and not book in advance anywhere. On our first day we made it to Lorne and asked that the very helpful Tourist Information office for places with vacancies. They recommended several but the idea of a quiet, relaxed B&B took our fancy so instead...
