Went here a couple of days after the pier to pub with my brother from overseas and family. We ordered $250 worth of food and then tried to order some cocktails only to be told the "cocktail bar" was shut and the boys behind the bar couldn't make them (they were not busy). I spoke to the manager and she...

We arrived in Lorne mid afternoon after driving from Apollo Bay and we decided to stop in at the Lorne Hotel for a "coldie" and a chill out. We sat up on the deck looking over the bay and enjoy our cold drinks and the sunshine. Service was good and the drinks cold - we didn't eat here

Last night had the worst mud crab in over six decades of catching, cleaning eating& ordering this delicacy. Please insist on seeing what you are going to pay $65 for-supposedly 500Gm in shell. We received five 100Gm tiddlers that mostly was shell virtually no meat!Tasted Alaskan crab dry and stringy, gazpacho ordinary, wine list underwhelming, great idea, poor execution, great location. A great disappointment-buyer beware!

Went here for dinner with the family and had a good pub meal. The herb/cheese bread was tasty. Mains had spag Bol, crumbed calamari and chicken parmigiana with all dishes hitting the mark. Good pub grub at good prices and would recommend going for a visit. Their beer garden is also a great place to visit!

On our journey driving the Great Ocean Road, we stopped for lunch at the Lorne Hotel and enjoyed the meal and the surrounds. Service was pretty good, since it was quite busy. Beautiful view over the ocean. Lovely atmosphere. Would def go back.

Lorne hotel  Neither of our rooms had adequate curtains, one window had no curtain at all and another the Venetian blind would not shut, which also had a bright Street light outside the window.  The toilet cistern in one room would not stop running and despite repeated requests to staff nothing was done and the cistern ran all night.  To...

Called in for lunch on a lovely sunny Wednesday. Food was fresh, a good selection of classic type pub fare and the views from the outside deck were spectacular. Had a couple of cheeky cockatoos come visit too! (Signs say don't feed them....didn't stop one from walking up an stealing a chip from my plate lol!). I would imagine it...

We stopped in for some lunch during our drive down great ocean road, and I am so happy we did! The view was very nice, overlooking the beach across the street. The food was delicious and made with very fresh ingredients. We also loved the playlist they had going in the background. Great place to stop in for a bite!
