Note: This is my experience with just the booking for an upcoming trip. Hello folks, Unfortunately there isn’t a negative rating option here. Totally do not recommend this motel for your travel because the owner is extremely rude and has zero customer service ethics. Says one thing to the customer and does a completely different thing on the side. Made a booking via booking.com missing that this did not have free cancellation. I could swear it was (but that is my fault). Anyway, I messaged the property and said that due to unforeseen circumstances we won’t be able to make that particular trip and requested to waive cancellation. 3 weeks later got no response and so called her. The lady turned around and said to me that she will consider it if booking.com won’t charge her commission. Great, so now I requested booking.com to assist me with this and they confirmed to her that if she is willing to accommodate the cancellation, they will waive the commission and guess what, she came back asking for a valid reason for cancellation as interstate travel ban lift has not yet been confirmed. I never said I am not travelling because of COVID-19 restrictions! Now I have to wait out to see if the government continues to enforce the travel ban until the end of the year otherwise I end up paying the entire cost of the booking. I know it was my oversight but the fact that the owner runs the business in such fashion where they are completely inhuman, unresponsive, downright rude and absolutely shady about the bookings is just shocking to me. I would recommend to steer clear of this place. Not worth it at all. There are many other hotels/motels around this area that I’m sure are much more considerate and customer friendly than this lady. I keep referring to her as this lady because she didn’t even bother giving me her name (despite me asking for it).

Clean as a pin. Good location just 700 m walk from main part of town. Useful that it has a kitchenette : basics plus microwave. Hannah picked us up from end of our GOWalk and was super nice: friendly and helpful.

The room was fine, as was the bed. What you would expect for a 3 star motel. Good location, a short walk to the pub, restaurants and the beach. Was a fraction pricey for what it was, but was between Xmas and new years, so prices are always dearer then. Overall would stay there again.

What a lovely place to stay whilst "doing" the Great Ocean Road. It might be 3 stars on paper but our experience was far in excess of that. Many many thanks for what turned out to be our favourite stop on our drive from Melbourne to Adelaide.

The place was very quite and nice. It has provided everything for your trip for the Great Ocean Road. However, one of the bed sheet was not clean (found some blood stains on the bed sheet) but the hotel was situated near the Port Campbell town, very easy to grab some food or beer after a long day trip.
