Stayed in this lovely hotel for one night and found it to be delightful. It fronts on to small marina and view from our room was very relaxing. The room was very minimalist and to our liking. The only problem could be for people with health problems because you need to carry bags up a large staircase to get to...

This is not an hotel – it’s a part time B & B. The doors are locked until 2.30pm and the building is only staffed at breakfast time (by one cook and one waitress) and again from 2.30pm until 6.30pm (by just one person). All the rest of the day and night it is totally unmanned. The breakfast is not...

Warmly greeted by Judith who showed us the facilities. We had a waterfront room upstairs in the main building. The stairs are steep and may not suit someone with compromised mobility and a heavy suitcase. The converted house is very comfortable with a large sitting room equipped with fire, books and games. The dining room where breakfast is served again...

What a great building, I can't rate this place highly enough it's a real gem. It's all very elegant from the lounge rooms to the breakfast room and veranda to the bedroom and it's beautiful view of the boats and river. The room had great space along with the shower room, very comfortable . We had breakfast on one day...

Excellent accommodation. Room very clean and spacious. Breakfast was first class. Cereal/juice etc followed by freshly cooked omelette, bacon etc. Owner very attentive and professional. Nice location beside the River Moyne. Only booked in for 2 nights but could have stayed more.

Arrived at Oscars Hotel mid afternoon and was greeted by very friendly staff member. We were given a short tour of the hotel and then taken to our room. The view from our room was really nice, looking over the river. The only downside was the size of the bathroom, very small with not much shelf rom for our toiletries....

This looks like an old house impeccably restored, but I have been told that it is quite new. Well done as the whole feeling is very classic and cosy at the same time. The beds are comfortable, the mosquito nets allow sleeping with open windows and the bathrooms are modern. The "lack" of furniture in the minimalist room is compensated...

When we arrived we were greeted by Richard, who assisted us with taking our luggage up a very steep staircase. We were shown to our room which had a lovely view of the river, the jetty and the boats. The room itself was clean but very sparse and without much in the way of "boutique hotel" niceties. It was stark...

We stayed just the one night in the suite at the rear of the property, apart from feeling that this was living in a goldfish bowl, the suite was well equipped and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit under-whelming and there was a lack of lights and mirrors. The breakfast was very good, ample amounts of food even though it...

After a long drive to Port Fairy, I was ready for a rest. From the moment you walk in to this hotel, you feel special. The public rooms are elegant and comfortable as are the well- equipped bedrooms. Walk through onto the waterfront terrace and relax with a glass of wine and you could find a better spot. The welcome...
