We have just come after staying a week in this fantastic Motel. From checkin to checkout the staff and service was fantastic. When inside the room there is a sliding door out to the lake, where we were created by 2 black swans, what a treat to just sit outside and watch them and some ducks swim around. We ate... More

We enjoyed the roominess of this motel even though it was probably built in the 70's and needs redecorating. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We liked the view over the lake with just a few mozzies hanging about.

Going up & down the Western Highway so many times over the years, I had watched this property being built but had never stayed there. This weekend I had the opportunity to do so for a night & I could see that over the years it would have been the hi light of Stawell township but noticed that the property... More

We loved the outlook of this motor lodge which is why we chose it. The room was spacious and clean with a rear door out to the lake area. Wild life ducks and birds a plenty. the owner was very welcoming, our breakfast was on time and delicious. Eggs and Bacon of course.

This is a standard 70s style motel - a large room with bare brick walls. A small TV that probably needed some tuning to remove the red colour cast on the picture but we were not there to watch TV. It was a pit stop to break up the drive between Adelaide and Melbourne. The bathroom was large but basic.... More

Free wifi .... We stayed here for two nights during winter, thankfully there was two heaters in the room. my children loved being able to see the kangaroos across the lake & feed the ducks. we had a back room & it was not noisy. Staff are friendly and helpful. Downsides: far from town centre, no foxtel, tennis court &... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and our favourite part was the restaurant. Could not fault it. Great service, very accommodating with our young children, awesome food and great price too. Our room was clean. Staff were very helpful in accommodating our requests. Grounds need some work though to make more family friendly.

Stopped here on way to Melbourne over long weekend. Booked spa room, which was dearer than the others.. These rooms unbelievably were closest to the main road, so even wearing earplugs at night, you could still hear trucks going by all night. Dinner in restaurant was overpriced- my partner ordered steak and specifically said she wanted more medium than rare...... More

Lovely big room, quiet, clean, tidy, neat. Restaurant food was lovely. Generous serves. Lovely to see only local wines available on the menu. Above all, the service we received from Hayley (front of house and reception), Charmaine and Andrea (Chef) in the kitchen was outstanding. We were made to feel very welcome. Will stay again.
