Our hosts Jim and Jackie were so welcoming and looked after my invalid husband with great kindness, even providing evening snacks - their own idea - so that we did not have to go out to dinner. The breakfasts were excellent, our bedroom very comfortable and a log fire in the guests' lounge room was so cosy in the evenings....

As a traveller used to b&b's in England, Scotland and Ireland, Glenhaven has an exceptionally high quality of bed and breakfast. It is beautifully situated in the Karri forest in the unique Pemberton climate. Each morning we were given a hearty breakfast and detailed local travel advice and directions. We enjoyed the evening nightcap.

Thank you for your gracious comments. We enjoyed your company. Yes - we will be closing for good at the end of this month, after 17 years and over 12,000 guests, the overwhelming majority of whom were as pleasant as you were. It's been a great experience and we will miss it all but we'll have many fond memories.

Earlier this year, we stayed four nights at Glenhaven B&B. The location was delightful with kangaroos hopping by at dusk and brilliantly coloured birds joining us for breakfast. Jim & Jackie were wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble in making sure every aspect of our stay in the area was catered for. We would recommend Glenhaven to all of...

Once again my wife and I went down for a relaxing adventure down south without kids and friends. On arrival to Pemberton, we decided to look for a place to stay for the night before going down further to Point D’entrecastreaux. Luckily the visitors centre attendant recommended Glenhaven B&B, which was an absolutely beautiful, peaceful and very good place to...

The 'Doorbell is connected to the Kettle' sign on the front door has always been just the beginning of our experiences at Glenhaven B&B - Aileen (the recidivist now with three visits) and Robert (the repeat offender with just two) have always found that Jim and Jackie's hospitality knows no bounds, and their ability to charm and entertain their guests...

This is the best b & b I've stayed in (my travels include NZ, Australia and the UK). From the message on the pottery kettle by the front door, the sherry at 6.00pm, comfortable bed to the perfectly cooked breakfast..Jim and Jackie's were very welcoming and hospitable. Best wishes for the future.

What a wonderful place to stay! Whether on a tour of the South-West, or further exploring the Pemberton district for a few days, anchoring at Glenhaven on the karri forest edge with Jim and Jackie as our hosts has always been an immensely enjoyable experience! On our recent stay we were welcomed with Jackie's homemade afternoon tea, settled into our...

“The double room near the guest lounge and breakfast room is carpeted, wardrobed and receives warm air from the slow-combustion wood fire stove in the lounge - cosiest in winter. The blue-room (double) is at the far end, not carpeted (eg if allergy is an issue), cooler, but is able to be warmed comfortably. The room with two singles is in between.”
