Makepeace Island is a little bit of Bail in the heart of the Sunshine Coast. The ambience is truly amazing. Wonderful food, accommodation with incredible attention to detail - perfect for a relaxing getaway. There is a fabulous Balinese artefact around every corner - so beautifully eye catching- I could not speak more highly of this fabulous holiday destination!!

I recently spent a weekend with 13 other ladies on Makepeace Island for a wellbeing weekend. The staff were on the pontoon to greet us on arrival (after being picked up by boat at the Noosa Marina) and the moment we stepped onto the island we knew we were in for a treat. We external guests visit to provide specific...

We had sole use of Makepeace Island for a friends 50th birthday party and I could not think of a better place to recommend to others for this purpose. The food was out of this world. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly, in fact they all came to the jetty to wave us off when we left and they...

There is a little bit of the divine enshrined on Makepeace Island, apart from the sitting stone buddhas that judge your worthiness at various vantage points around that tiny sanctuary. A big part of that divinity is the staff, a poor choice of word for those beautiful souls who spoiled us rotten without ever intruding. Your island stay is a...

I was fortunate to secure a "golden ticket" to the Save the Koala Fundraiser event on Makepeace Island. The event was fabulous and what a great cause. Those lovely creatures need our protection. It's the dream which played out for the two days during my stay on the island after the event. I'm still pinching myself. The greeting at the...

Wow ! We were just cruising down Noosa River when we came across Makepeace Island & now it's on my bucket list to do with my family. As mentioned we didn't stay here but took some Pictures of the lovely looking Balinese style villas tucked away beside the mangroves & were highly impressed with the look of this isolated resort.

We were recently invited to Makepeace for a special occasion weekend. The 'special' was laid on from the moment you are whisked away like a celebrity in your very own boat transfer to the island. Once you step onto the island you are greeted by the friendliest and most attentive staff. By the time you leave the island it's almost...

My partner and I recently experienced a blissful weekend stay at Makepeace Island, celebrating a friend's birthday, and what an incredible experience it was. We loved every moment of our time on the island, with every detail having been so impeccably thought through. From the moment we stepped onto the island, we felt a million miles away from the world,...

Just look at the photos! It's the perfect place to catch up on life with dear friends and family. The owners, the hosts and staff were so committed to making us happy and relaxed. Absolutely worth the trip from Europe. Thanks for the wonderful stay!!

My wife and I stayed the weekend to celebrate a friend's special birthday - just Wow! We are privileged in that we get first class airline travel, eat at Michelin 3-star restaurants and stay in 5-star hotels around the world, so are not easily impressed. But this was pretty special - your own private paradise with outstanding dining and lodging....
