Dolphins Beach House is the best hostel I have ever stayed in and quite possibly, the best in the world! The rooms are clean, spacious and are situated in separate flats, meaning you get your own kitchen (with oven) no more cramming around one hob! There are bathrooms and kitchens in each unit (no queuing for bathrooms!) which you can...

it's not in noosa , it's in sunshine coast that it's noosa. But i preffer it, cause it is a really calm place and you are 2 blocks from the sunshine beach and the national park. But you need to walk a lot for going to Noosa, but they provide shuttle options to the city for free. They have a...

The hostel is set right next to the beach with lots of coastal walks and the national park. Dolphins has comfy chairs and hammocks outside with candles and incense which is really relaxed. The vibe is pretty chilled all round and the facilities are really good with a fully equipped kitchen and apartment style rooms. The bathrooms aren't the cleanest...

The hostel has got the atmosphere of a nice place with a nice courtyard filled with chairs where to hang on, the music of the hostel arguable choice and a TV. Kitchen, shower and toilet were ok in my part of unit, but the cleaning starts around 8am on average and it is a lot loud and feels like they...

The hostel was beautiful-lots of care, love and thought put into the common rooms and outside space, with lots of comfy chairs, space etc..The hostel is beautifully designed and decorated-a real hippie beach theme!! The free pick up/drop off service to the main centre of town and the hostel was superb. The rooms were spacious and clean. The kitchen's are...

The pink hostel is one of the nicest places I've stayed in. The staff is easy going and young, very friendly and always in a good mood. The facility is nice and clean. Two rooms share a kitchen and a bathroom, which is very nice and creates a private atmosphere. The big yard in the middle is equipped with hammocks...

Firstly, this hostel gives off a chilled/hippy vibe. There are all sorts of rules around the hostel eg no goon allowed... You at least think you're going to get a good nights sleep but there is no night manager here. It is not a quiet hostel. People were loud until around 1am and there were 2 loud French guys sat...

Wanted to stay half a week, ended up staying over 3 weeks. I liked this place! The apartment style setup is a nice change, compared to normal hostel setups. The staff was helpful and easy going - the checkout time was not really forced all the time and you were allowed to use the facilities when you asked nicely even...

We stayed here for a week; Noosa is such a cool place with lots to see so it was nice to come back to hostel and relax in the hammocks and sit around with others and share stories, play pool and listen to music. The bedrooms and kitchens are very clean, and cleaned each morning by the hostel staff! Would...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Chill out and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Dolphins Beach House at beautiful Sunshine Beach, Noosa. This secluded, hippy-style haven is the closest hostel to the beach in Noosa, situated next to Noosa National Park with a boutique shopping village just one minute away. The ambience of this family-run hostel is quirky and unique - definitely not part of a franchise backpackers business. The owners are experienced travelers themselves, and Dolphins Beach House reflects their love of travel, with many exotic artifacts from India to Burma and Thailand. Once you slip past the gardens, the trees, the funky pink walls and the Guatemalan architecture, you'll realize that you have found a restful retreat. It's no wonder that Dolphins Beach House is Lonely Planet's best pick for Noosa for 2010 / 2011. Relax, unwind, enjoy. Our friendly staff are always happy to recommend where to go and what to see next. Office hours are 8:00 am to 7:00 pm ... more   less
