Friendly greeting. Only had time for scones with jam and cream and tea. Damson jam, warm homemade scones and a generous pot of tea. Delicious. Lovely gardens and we spent a quick 10mins on the swing seat. Now looking forward to eating the fresh eggs we purchased!

We had a family and friends special Birthday Sunday dinner party. Mary had made us very welcome both during the planning and on the day. Nothing was too much trouble. For her and her loveley staff Super home cooking, beautifully presented in a relaxed athmosphere. Highly recommended.

Delicious home-cooked food. Salads, Ploughmans and sandwiches with large slices of home cooked meat. Home made cakes and apple pie. Wonderful afternoon teas. Friendly service. Old fashioned good value. Beautiful gardens. Don't miss it- only open certain times at weekends.
