Three night off season break after a trip to Milan. Other reviewers are accurate. The views from the bedrooms and their balconies are superb and the food was beautiful.

My friend Graziella took me to this place fabulous food and service post card view of Lake Como we had a two hour lunch so nice and cool it was very hot outside we sat right next to window beautiful views and great prices

We ate here after recommendation from our host at Villa Mathilda.
At first sight Hotel GLAVJC appears unimpressive however despite the 1970s decor the restaurant is superb. There are stunning views over Lake Como, enhanced during our visit by a spectacular lightning storm.

The hotel has a lift (elevator). The hotel rests on a very steep hill looking down to the lake. The driveway to the parking area is also very steep. In my mind, the dramatic views are worth the effort.
