Hi Debs I cannot remember off hand how much the hotel charges for an upgrade but there are lots of lovely bars and restaurants very close by, we only ever do B&B but I can understand you upgrading if you have small children. There are plenty of places that do "deals" on food.. 2 courses for 14 euros etc..and there are lots of "happy hours" for drinks. My husband and I have been visiting this hotel for the past 18 years as have many of the customers that go to the Nestor,
the choice of food is great and the staff very helpful and welcoming, have a lovely holiday.
The beach is a 5 min walk and is lovely. Smashing restaurants a vibrant harbour with excellent choice of day sails. It’s literally out front door cross road and you are there. You can hire sun loungers etc.
