We went at the end of September for a last minute break with friends. We booked through Olympic which was nice and easy. Arrived and both had 1 bed bungalows next to each other. They are old style but adequate and clean. The pool area is lovely, clean and quiet (out of season). The food is ok, small amount of...

Dear Guest Many thanks for taking the time to post a review on Trip Advisor. It was an absolute pleasure to read your comments, and I am really pleased that you had a great holiday. This was a lovely place to stay. We were here with small children in October, staying in a superior apartment near the pool and restaurant. We stayed half board and enjoyed food here in the evening and breakfast each morning. For one week it was perfect, though there were no changes to breakfast and I would imagine that the themed...

Myself and my partner stayed all inclusive at the Makronisos Holiday Village after booking up a late deal to get away and relax using Alpharooms, and Im so glad that we did. Upon arrival I was a bit sceptical. This was because we arrived at night when it was dark and from the outside it didnt look like it was...

My wife and I have recently returned from a four-week stay at the village. This was the fourth time we have had a holiday there and each time seems to be better than the last. The village is a wonderful place, the rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed. The gardens are beautiful and so well looked after. The pool...

Great place for unforgetable holiday with children. Nice bungalows, clean pool, delicious food, great staff and Fanta the cat. It's far from the noisy central but close to the beach. Just one negativ thing: there is no sound-proofing between bungalows. Just few meters the supermarket, atm and busstop. I really recommend for all.

First time visit to Cyprus and was not disappointed. Myself and my Mam had an amazing holiday here, the hotel was kept very well maintained and clean throughout the stay. The staff are incredible, a little family to themselves, they literally do what they can to make you have fun and enjoy your time there. Genuinely lovely people! Entertainment could...

We spend whole week with small childrens, good energy, huge swimming pool, welcoming stuff, the food was ok, few km from the center but we had car, good wifi, we are coming back, best value for money.

Lovely hotel with friendly, hardworking staff and surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens. Every part of the hotel is kept spotlessly clean. There's a bus stop right at the front of the hotel so getting around is easy. Had a fantastic, relaxing holiday and this hotel played a big part in that. The only small negative is the food which wasn't...

Returned to the resort after an excellent holiday there last year. We had asked for the same room as we had last year but a couple of weeks before our arrival, I had to contact the hotel as my wife was no longer able to get into a bath due to arthritis. The staff were excellent and when we arrived...

I have spent 4 days with my wife at the end of October. We stayed at Superior Studio, which is quite big, with big balcony, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, big balcony and very clean kitchen (which we didnt use). Although, we used accomodation only, even didnt swim in swimming pool, I see that the guests were happy, nice kids...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Ideally located in a peaceful spot on the outskirts of Ayia Napa, The Makronisos Village is a complete tourist village with a rustic feel. The sweeping sands of Nissi Bay with its wide range of water sports are close by, as are tavernas and a water park. The pulsing nightlife in Ayia Napa can be reached in five minutes by car, or a quick hop on the bus from outside the hotel. Checking in at the lovely reception area, you will receive a warm welcome reflecting the attentive, high standard of service to come. Attractively decorated and well equipped bungalows with spacious terraces are set among extensive gardens filled with palms and beautiful bougainvillea. The gardens create a lush back drop to the large, beautiful swimming pool with children's pool attached. A wealth of facilities and an extensive leisure programme for all ages mean you'll be torn between an energetic time or a chilled out break. So why not have a bit of both? Engage with fellow guests in volleyball, football, tennis, or water polo, to name a few, before surrendering to a dreamy massage. Don't worry about the children; they'll be well taken care of at the Kids' club, with endless all-day fun with new-found friends. Buffet meals are served in the hotel's inviting restaurant, and sandwiches, ice cream and other snacks can be bought from the bar and by the pool. Each evening entertainment is laid on in the form of barbecues, bingo, karaoke and more. ... more   less
