This must be one of the best-placed hotels in Spain. You can spend hours just looking out to sea and watching the fishing boats go in and out. Room spacious and very good service. Food good- lots of fish and seafood.

My room: comfortable, always spotlessly clean, it had a TV and a mini-bar, a balcony with a view of the beach (the opposite side of the hotel overlooks the bay towards Roses). The food : always excellent, quality cooking, the set menu features an entree, choice of 3 starters, choice of 3 mains-2 of which are usually fish, really fresh...

The hotel has it's own extensive park around it. Even when fully booked one gets a private place for one's sun bed. Discrete an attentive service everywhere without any pressure to consume. The hotel has it s individual style referring to the Costa Brava and some paintings of Dali in the decoration. Meals in half board are of gourmet quality...

The hotel is located about 3 miles from the centre of Roses. Buses are available or there is an attractive cliff top path - the path is a little rough and step in places. However, the adjacent bay and beach has all you need for a relaxing holiday.Good area for more demanding coastal walks but appropriate footwear is recommended. Probably...

We stayed here 2 years ago and on our return we were delighted to find that standards were as high as previously. This is a quiet, family run hotel, in a superb location. While the exterior appearance is very 60s and 70s, the facilities are excellent, the service courteous and helpful and the cleanliness is immaculate. Although not a plush...

An exquisite place where we have eaten family. The terrace is impressive, there is a very nice panoramic sea Roses. And a very simple and flowery garden that contrasts with the dark blue sea. The food is exquisite and the treatment of service is very attentive. We have eaten at the restaurant terrace and have allowed us the company of...

We spent some days in this lovely spot in Roses. The hotel 's location is great and the views breathtaking. The hotel service has been very correct: they make you feel at home without invading you. All what you can expect from a hotel like this. The rooms might need a renovation soon but are acceptable and make you feel...

W are returning to this hotel for 30 years still going. Rooms impeccable kept in style but still upgraded as time got by. This style isn't lost by improvements. Each year there are improvements added step by step. Never a huge redesign or refurbishment. Decoration fits with that and there are some original signed paintings of Salvador Dali. The views...

The kind of location you hope for (think Carmel CA) - in a hotel that is impeccably maintained in its original style that some have referred to as "dated". I don't know when it was built, but its "70's" style is both rare and original. You don't find this sort of hotel much anymore. Very clean and, again, very maintained....
