Our little hideaway in the White Mountains. The property is picture perfect; the owners are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area; and rooms are modest, updated and squeaky clean. We choose this private locale over a chain franchise any night. Reasonable rates, excellent group rates for larger family or business events.

This is a nice, quiet and clean place. Rooms are large and roomie. Stayed here to see concert at the lions den over the weekend. Someone had said in a previous post that it wasn't kept up as it was up for sale. I didn't find that to be an issue...maybe they were looking for something more fancy.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Timber Lodge. From the warm greeting by Dorothy, who, by the way, shared with me some salve for the toe I had badly stubbed, just before arriving, to the take out dinner we enjoyed under the pines in the courtyard, all went beautifully for us. Note, this is NOT your chain, cookie cutter hotel/motel. If...

We had pre-booked our trip here and in hindsight probably didn't need to. The lady on reception was very helpful, the place is very dated but clean. My sister who had booked the room was unable to get out of the car due to an injury (she was in a wheelchair, oh and by the way Pinetop not wheel chair...

Our experience at the timber lodge was totally different from the reviews I read. This place was old. Our blankets had holes everywhere. The room was dark and no A/C. The place is for sale so obviously they have not maintained it. My husband and I had reserved for 3 nights and left after two. They would not refund our...

This is a very nice little motel. Very pleasant owners. Always friendly and nice. In the back there is a circle area with chairs, tables and gorgeous pine trees. They accept pets and have a variety of different bed sizes for singles up to couples.

I loved it from the moment I walked in. The woman that ran the front desk was so nice to my rambunctious 2 yr old and was helpful drawing maps for us. The location can't be beat, the lake is almost right across the street and the national park right behind the hotel. The courtyard with the trees was exactly...

My husband and I planned our yearly vacation to be in Pinetop this year, we stayed for 3 nights at TimberLodge. We had a great time! The location of the Lodge made for fun hikes and spectacular sightseeing, all for a great price. Dorothy called once a day to check on our supply and service needs and her husband helped...

My son and I have stayed at this place many times in the last 4 years but this time it was different because I encouraged my husband to join us. He was thoroughly pleased. Timber Lodge Inn is a most excellent place to stay. The accommodations were superb and Dorothy is quick to respond to any need we had. Short...

very clean rooms, friendly staff. The grounds were very well kept. When we arrived we were informed that there was an issue with the room that we had booked and they upgraded us to another room. This is a sign of good management that goes out of their way to take care of the customer. I rate them the highest...
