Loved the look of the The Old Diary when I found it online, we were coming to Wales for a family wedding and was not disappointed. Met by Debbie on arrival, shown to our room which was decorated and furnished to a very high standard. We had tea, coffee and milk in the suite and Welsh cakes and biscuits which...

This B&B is a real find. Everything from the hosts, the room and breakfast were excellent. The rooms are tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was extremely yummy, especially the halloumi. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B, it deserves its 5 star rating. Bravo. Well done.

It is difficult to find the right superlative to describe just how nice this place is. Set in a very beautiful and quiet location the property we stayed in (Buttercups) is decorated and furnished to a very high standard including a lovely en-suite with a nice shower. There is plenty of room and even space outside to sit and soak...

There are very good B and Bs, and there are excellent B and Bs, and then there is The Old Dairy at Ystrad Fach Farm. 'Excellent' doesn't really do justice to this superb B and B. We had a lovely warm welcome from Debbie, and that warmth, and concern that we were OK, continued throughout our two night stay. We...
