I recently stayed at this hotel with family for my international flight connections and it exceeded all expectations . Rooms were throughly clean , we ate in their restaurant with very clean and decorated atmosphere and excellent attendant services . Rooms, beds bathrooms were all clean and well maintained. They even upgraded us to good rooms at check in without any extra pay and gave us a small gift pack of Italian candies— nice gesture ! You will love your stay and superb breakfast for your stay in this hotel . All flight crews and pilots also staying in this highly strategic location hotel so this hotel has good standards you can expect .

I chose to stay at Sheraton for one night for transit as the hotel is inside terminal 3.

It was quite a walk from the aircraft to the hotel but it was inside the terminal, up and down the levels.

The check in was quick. The hotel was huge, spanning many blocks. I was assigned a room far away from the elevator and the last room down a long hallway. I was so tired looking for my room. When I got there my key did not work. I was frustrated and was afraid to have to walk all the way back to the front desk. It would be a nightmare. A cleaning lady on the floor who was not friendly and did not speak English, did not help. I guessed she said she did not know. Finally she pointed me to a phone in the hallway where I called the front desk. I was so tired and sat on the floor to wait for someone to come. Finally I got into the room. The room was bare and stuffy. I had questions that I need to check with the reception, the phone in the room did not work. I was so frustrated with the challenge of reaching the reception at the huge hotel.

The breakfast was good with good selection of food. The swim pool was very small, deceiving from the picture on the website. The room and bathroom were clean, very standard and good size.

Besides the convenient location inside Terminal 3, the one-night stay was expensive at a chain hotel with a bare room and not functional phone, a hotel without a warm touch.

My parents’ home is just 30 minutes away from the airport but every time we visit Italy we have very early flights and all the procedures for cleaning and closing up the home for months make it impossible to actually sleep at home so we finish what we have to do the day before our flights then sleep at Sheraton.

Is it a pretty hotel? Nope.
It’s just an airport hotel. But rooms are spacious, bathrooms super clean and functional, mattresses super comfy.

On my last stay 3 weeks ago the room was so hot, uncomfortably hot, I actually had to sleep with the window open though it was freezing outside. I found that odd given I am the type of guy that freezes over when temperatures go below 20 Celsius.

If you have plenty of luggage or if you are a smoker do ask a room near the elevators as it can be quite the jog if your room is further down the maze-like corridors.

To be honest I find it overall pricy for what it is, sometimes you find sister hotel Moxy in Terminal 2 at half price - of course it’s a far cry from Sheraton the rooms are tiny and bathroom resembles that of an Airbus but if all you need is a few hours sleep and quick access to the airport who cares.

On a side note, Starwood hospitality has gone downhill since being bought by Marriott. My gold status used to get me something with SPG now I don’t even get a welcome drink and that’s why now I make my choices based on room rate rather than loyalty to the brand.

Stayed at the hotel for one night and made sure to book the room on Club Lounge floor so that we could enjoy some snacks and drinks at the lounge in the evening. I made a booking directly on Sheraton webpage which literally mentioned “lounge access” and the booking was done one day before my check-in, so the hotel must had been aware of the restrictions in place (eg. SPA closure was already mentioned). So I paid specifically like 40€ extra for the lounge access and when I arrived I was told that the lounge is closed due to covid and the only replacement I was offered was 20% off on their restaurant menu. Funnily enough, the banner promoting Club Lounge was still proudly standing right next to the front desk... I honestly cannot even grasp how is that possible that they believe that it’s a good solution that I first pay 40€ for lounge and then I would pay extra for any drink or snack I want to order + 6€ per person for room service. No alternative solution was offered and honestly, I feel like I paid for a service that I never received and the attitude from the hotel was like this is perfectly fine for a four star hotel.

Then, in the morning the cleaning staff started vacuuming the hallways at 7AM and making loud noises?! I understand that cleanness is a must, but in an airport hotel people also arrive in the middle of the night and expect to sleep at 7AM.

Also, the breakfast was for one thing underwhelming and so environmentally unfriendly. I get that covid forces hotels to find alternative solutions on how to serve buffet breakfast, but packing literally every single thing (ie. a slice of ham or cheese) in a separate plastic or paper package? Also receiving our omlette took like 15min in an airport hotel, where people are often in a hurry.

I’ll give one star for the room though - spacious and clean. Air conditioning didn’t allow me to adjust the temperature though, but well - happens I guess.

After reading some of the reviews below I was a bit worried about staying here, however the location is so convenient I booked anyway. Long line for check in around 3 p.m. (check in time) but handled ok. Was delighted to see the typical "Starwood bed" with great sheets and pillows and was won over as quite tired. After a little rest, got to experience the deficiencies in F&B. Huge hotel, the main restaurant is operating but required a reservation for dinner. Club Lounge not open so those with lounge access get a voucher for free drink and 30% off meals. No space for dinner, so I opted to sit on the smoking terrace and enjoy a free drink. I had three coupons but had to wait so long that I only used one and went to the food court in the airport to get a sandwich.

Breakfast was ok but service quite inconsistent. I was seated in one area and asked about hot options and was gestured to see the other side of the buffet, flacid bacon, overcooked sausages, empty plate of hotcakes, and overcooked eggs.

To facilitate a larger group was moved into the zone of Jessica - who offered made to order omelettes, more coffee, and checked in repeatedly to see if all was ok.

My room was very clean. Towels were very well used but clean. Nice toiletries - appreciated that at least they used larger containers ofoap, shampoo, hair conditioners in shower instead of single use. But I saw the poor cleaners literally racing from room to room, so guess they are also a bit understaffed.

Understand that due to COVID everyone is not yet staffed up, but seems they are really missing out on revenue and client happiness.

They have an really convenient location, comfortable rooms - hope that they can bring their outlets back and more good staff!

Attached to the airport terminals via a pedestrian underpass and with the railway station almost outside the front door you just cannot beat the location.

We had a large comfortable room, thankfully this time, only about 50 metres away from the elevators. Notwithstanding its location we did not hear any aircraft noise.

Room was furnished with a queen bed (comfortable) with small bed side tables and reading lamps on either side. There was also a single lounge chair, small round coffee table, desk with a chair and another reading lamp, wall mounted flat screen TV, wardrobe with a safe, minibar and tea/coffee making facilities.

The large bathroom had a shower (pressure good) in the bath and the vanity basin was large enough to store toiletries.

Both the room and bathroom were very clean.

WIFI was included and worked well.

Staff on reception were helpful and friendly.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights while waiting for our insurance company to arrange a flight home following my son breaking his leg on holiday.
From the moment we drove up the staff were so helpful, looking after our bags, bringing a wheelchair and helping to communicate with our insurers to arrange payment. Roberta and Marco provided excellent customer service at a very stressful time.
The hotel itself was perfect for wheelchair use with wide corridors, spacious rooms and bathrooms and plenty of room in the restaurant to accommodate us. Breakfast buffet was great.

Kudos to the front desk staff. They saved us money by telling us about a 2nd covid testing location instead of the one just outside the hotel entrance AND they recommended a lovely local restaurant Osteria della Pista including complimentary car service. Super convenient location and quiet in spite of being onsite at the airport. We also enjoyed a bottle of wine from the onsite restaurant Il Canneto.

Located in the airport and right next to the station. No need for car hire or shuttle.
Rooms were clean and spacious with all the necessary products for a short stay of you forgot anything such a toothbrush, razor shower gel and moisturiser.
The rooms have slippers robe and an iron available.
The gym was well equipped considering the size and towels and water were available.
My only issue with the room was that the pillows were too soft for me.
The staff were very friendly and even gave my mother and I a gift for international womens day. They were also able to check us in earlier than advertised.
I didn't have any food here but I did attend the bar for some drinks.
I found the prosecco overpriced as it was 50 euros a bottle. They offered regular and large glasses but the large glasses were not filled meaning the large and small could potentially be the same size for different prices.

This is our third stay and of course the biggest plus is the location. We just checked into our room and the carpets are filthy. Spots everywhere! I read a response from the hotel for a similar issue and they said the carpeting will be removed and there will be hard floors only. That was back in June. It’s now almost March and nothing has changed. It’s inexcusable and utterly disappointing. Based on other reviews, it will probably be a waste of time and effort changing rooms only to find the same problem. The only reason a gave a two star rating is because of the convenience of the location.

I would text the hotel and ask them. The staff was incredibly helpful when we were planning our trip and looking for transportation. They are very responsive and will definitely be able to help you. I do recall that there were "Family Rooms" across the hall from us. Not sure what they included - but sounds like maybe what you need. Or - you could possibly look for a room with 2 queen beds. Hope you enjoy your stay.
