A faultless hotel just outside Killarney, and great value for the location and quality. Our bedroom was large, spotless, tastefully furnished, with beautiful views of Loch Lein. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was also spacious and spotless. Breakfast and dinner were excellent; fresh, local foods, cooked perfectly and served with friendly banter, indoors or outdoors. Through out the hotel there was great attention to detail, and every effort made to make you stay comfortable and enjoyable, thanks to Paul, Annette and Jack. Thanks all for a great week in Killarney.

The booking process was done via Loch Lein House website and was very easy. Upon arrival, had I not seen photos on line, I might have thought I was in the wrong place. The house sits in an idyllic setting on Loch Lein. The house itself has many amenities including a bar and sitting room, elevator, a front lawn that's wonderful to sit on and take in the beauty of the lake and the mountains beyond. Annette, who owns the house along with her husband Paul, was there to greet us as we walked int he front door. Their son Jack was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. He's truly an asset to the business.

Breakfast is served in a large dining room with sweeping views of the lake. The food was delicious and the service was what I'd expect in any highly rated restaurant.

Our room was the largest room in which I've stayed while anywhere in Europe. A very large window gave us incredible views of the lake and mountains. Everything was spotless, housekeeping was wonderful, and little touches were appreciated (such as complimentary bottles of water).

This was my tenth visit to Ireland (I usually stay 2-3 wks at a time, so I have a bit of experience with accommodations) and I can say with complete certainty that Loch Lein House is among the very finest of places I've stayed.

Annette, Paul and Jack are all engaging, friendly, knowledgeable and truly belong in this business. Well done, all!

What can we say that has not been sad before. This is hospitality at its best in a stunning location in a remarkable house, Annette and Paul were born hosts and nothing was too much for them. On arrival you are captured by the stunning garden well maintained with seasonal flowers and well positioned garden furniture to relax and take in the stunning view of the lake and mountains beyond. The house in beautifully decorated again with flowers on many surfaces, some I supect from the garden. The room and bathroom were big and bright, beautifully furnished with stunning views of the lake. Everything throughtout was spotlessly clean. Dinner was gorgeous and hosts were very attentive to my needs as a Coeliac. A truely wonderful place to stay and within easy reach of all the main attractions and Killarney town itself. Thank you Annette and Paul for a lovely few days. Iris and Gerry

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Loch Lein Country House Hotel recently and will be returning for sure. Nestled in the country side overlooking the Killarney lakes, it is a treasure to stay here with spacious and extremely clean accommodation, exquisite food in the restaurant and a marvellous friendly atmosphere created by the hosts Annette and Paul. Cocktails in the bar served by Jack were a treat after a busy day exploring the area.

Paul & Annette (husband & wife team) have created an oasis of warmth, comfort, hospitality & gorgeous food for whomever is lucky enough to stay here. From the moment we entered, we felt at home (we were really looking forward to our family staycation so expectations were high for all of us - 2 parents & 3 adults/teenager).

The lake views from our rooms were amazing, it was peaceful & quiet but central to the town too (though a car is required). The dinners were really high end restaurant quality (we enjoy fish so couldn't pass the prawns, monkfish, john dory & turbot) however all tastes are catered for.

The rooms were immaculately clean, views amazing and service was always attentive without ever being intrusive. I asked Paul why there were so few guests here & learned U.S & European visitors are normally first in the queue ,however we were probably the beneficiaries of one of the few positives of Covid-19 given the lack of foreign visitors.

Our family was certainly much the better for this great staycation -we have no doubt this was enabled by our hosts, the hotel & location. It was our first visit and we are sure it is the first of many more to come .

It was a pleasure to meet your lovely family and we were particularly delighted with Eanna's good news on the Friday. Good luck Aoife in the Job hunt and Cathal, hope you will be back hurling soon. I have one word for you, and that word is Jack. This absolute phenom of a lad does it all. Make sure to ask for his mojitos if you get the chance (he will cook you up a mean hot cocoa too). Beyond this wonderful young chap, Annette and Paul were incredibly gracious hosts. Our room had the most beautiful view of Loch Lein. We sat in the front garden and watched the sunset over the lake as Jack brought us any delicious beverage of our choice and a citronella candle to keep the midges away. The shampoo in the room smelled divine. The dinner and breakfasts at Loch Lein were also phenomenal. We could truly see why Loch Lein is one of the hidden gems of Ireland and is in the top trip advisor places to stay globally. You will not regret staying at this wonderful country house.

Dear Paul, Annette and Team,

We’d like to take a moment to thank you again for making our wedding day the best day of our lives. In such a popular tourist town, very few venues can boast such a breathtaking location and intimate seclusion such as yours - we felt very special. With your calm approach and attention to detail, we actually thoroughly enjoyed the planning process. From the moment we enquired about available dates until we said our ‘I do’s’ on your front lawn, we genuinely felt that all you wanted for us was to have the most wonderful wedding. Everything came together so beautifully and we will be eternally grateful.

We could not recommend you and your team more highly.

Love and best wishes,

Emma and Jack x

Had a really lovely stay in Killarney. Loch Lein is in a great location only a short drive from the town centre. There are beautiful views onto the lake from the dining room where we had a delicious breakfast and dinner. The lamb comes highly recommended and enjoyed a lovely pint sitting outside in a gorgeous seating area. Paul and Annette are brilliant hosts and really made us feel welcome.

We just returned from the beautiful and welcoming country of Ireland after a 3 week stay. During this countrywide trip, we stayed in a number of upscale and highly rated hotels. While the accommodations were all very good indeed, one place stood out, that was the Loch Lien Country House just outside Killarney.
The accommodations we were assigned had a marvelous view of the nearby lake and pastoral countryside. Additionally, the room was very large, with high ceilings, plenty of light, a large bathroom, comfortable high-back chairs and a quality bed.
Likewise, the country house's reception area, hallways and restaurant were decorated tastefully and had fresh flowers daily. The food in the restaurant, was all local and much of it was produced on site. We had two dinners and two breakfasts at Loch Lien, both of which were gourmet quality.
While the room accommodations and food were first class, the hosts and owners, Annette & Paul Corridan, made the stay even more special. Their warmth, humor, knowledge of the area and professionalism was quite unique and very welcoming.
We have traveled in many great countries around the world in the past 40 years, and stayed in many world-class accommodations, but the Loch Lien Country House stands out as one of the world's finest lodgings!!
Many thanks to Paul and Annette and the staff - you made our trip memorable.

We were greeted with the warmest of welcomes and the guesthouse is exquisitely decorated with beautiful attention to detail. The surrounding garden and view over the lake to the mountains is so picturesque. We dined in the first night and thoroughly enjoyed a delicious meal along with the breakfasts which are made to order. Annette and Paul were perfect hosts and we appreciated Paul’s advise when planning our daily activities. They both went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Definitely one of our top stays during our driving tour around Ireland.

This little hotel is approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometres) from the town of Killarney. It would be possible to walk into the town if you were feeling energetic! There is ample parking facilities at the hotel itself. As well as this, there are various car parks in the town of Killarney - if you decided to drive from the hotel to the town! If you decide to stay at this little hotel you will certainly enjoy it and the surroundings. Your views will include green grass, lake view and mountains!
