The food served here is the best, spectacular view, fresh air and cool, spacious rooms and very warm, friendly and helpful staff! I have no complaints and in fact, I'd definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family especially from Malaysia and other Muslim countries as the food served here is halal!

Tinggal 1 malam mid-September kemarin with friend. It was comfortable. I think it will be better though if the hotel can provide elevator (lift) for the guests. The room suits the price and we are very happy with our stay.

When you arrive at this hotel you think it will be superb. It looks impressive and the grounds outside are very well maintained. Sadly the hotel itself is terrible and it's clear that a once magnificent place has been subjected to much neglect. The carpet in the public areas is filthy and looks like it has never been cleaned. The...

Stayed in 3 cottages, 2 interconnecting cottages and 1 more separate one. Unfortunately, the cottages are quite run down. One can tell that this resort had seen its hey days many many years ago (picture 20 years ago). The carpet is worn and dirty, the toilets are old, shower door is rusty at some parts (be careful if travelling with...

Large, lovingly manicured grounds with a sweeping view, weather permitting. Easy walk to market area and the circle where the tourist office is. Well-situated for hiking Mt. Sibayak: take a yellow KT van 2K to the main road or walk, 10 minutes, then get the green KAMA van to the park entrance/end, 2 K. Also convenient for Gundaling Hill. Hotel...

Room was ok. A bit cramp for three. The view was beautiful, on clear day can see semiactive volcanoes nearby. Walking distance to fruits market. Please bargain hardly when you purchase there. I had chances to chew lots of fruits at barely a penny.

Let me start off by saying that the hotel's 4-star rating must be a joke. I have stayed in 1-star hotels that are better than Sinabung Hills. Thankfully my friends and I only booked for a night. We checked in rather late to the Superior Cottage, and were greeted by an odd smell that culminated in some kind of stench...

One of the worst hotel I've stayed. Thanks God we only stayed for one night. The room looks old, bathtubs was dirty, and there was a swimming pool outside but who want to go swimming when it was cold as ice and I saw a dog drink the swimmimg pool's water.

First the positives: the hotel looks nice and has nice rooms. It seams ours was partially renovated fairly recently. The room overlooks the garden, which is beautiful and the staff is friendly. However, we have never slept in such a bad hotel. When we arrived there was no hot water. A hot shower after 5 days of jungle seemed very...
