We had the most incredible stay here! The location is stunning and, after exploring the whole island, we would not have wanted to stay anywhere else. It is so peaceful and the sounds of the country life, together with the lapping ocean, can be heard as the sun rises and sets. The views from all windows and terraces are breathtaking. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed and serviced daily. The host, Manolis, is always available and most thoughtful and helpful and if you need anything. The beach is literally a 50 metres walk and the nearest supermarket is less than 2km away. There is parking on site and I would highly recommend renting a car in order to fully explore the island. We rented from Anemos Rent a Car, as recommended by Manolis, and they were fantastic and super friendly. Definitely the most affordable of the car hire companies we contacted. We have recommended Skyros and Almyra Guest Houses to all our friends and family already. Thank you Manolis for a wonderful holiday!…

We had an amazing stay in Almyra guest houses, the view from the room was breathtaking, the room it self, is superb. We stayed in the standard couple room and we had everything we need, Manolis the host is really friendly, polite and he was checking regularly to check if we need anything additional. Overall, I will highly recommended it for a pleasant stay in Skyros.

Almyra is the last house of the village called Gyrismata in Skyros, thereafter there are only fields. It is on top of the large sandy beach of Gyrismata, which is you can visit by foot in two minutes. The beach has a beach bar under Almyra, but the rest remains open and you can sit to your own umbrella. The sea is usually windy with large waves, where you can play. But when it is calm, it is even beautiful. All the guest houses are spacey, have a fantastic sea view and are nicely decorated following the island's motive. Manolis, the owner, is an excellent host, who can advise each client about the beauties and the tips of the island!

Top choice for a holiday in Skyros. We stayed with our three yeard old daughter in Skyros for 4 days and we could have not asked for a better place. The maisonette we stayed in was brand new, spotless and very well equipped. The place was very spacious and well laid out with patio in the front and terrace also, we felt like this was our home. The proximity to the sea is another huge plus, not only do you get amazing sea views but the its also a lovely beach to swim in. Place is about 10 min drive from Chora which is ideal. The owner of the place is also extremely communicative, helpful and pleasant making sure that our stay was exactly as we would have wanted it to be. Cannot recommend this place enough and would definitely stay there again. Skyros is a gem and so it this place!!…

Brand new facilities, clean, sea-view from all the rooms, peaceful, excellent services with a personalized touch. 30m from the beach and very close to good restaurants it makes Almyra a good choice to have a base while you explore the beauties of Skyros island.

One of the top choices for the island of Skyros, this is a place absolutely worth considering. It's spotless, brand new, very well located by the beach and benefits from the personal attention of the warm, professional and efficient proprietor. The lodgings are spacious, airy, perfectly maintained and well suited for shorter or longer stays.

Amazing place for family vacations. By the sea amazing view. Manolis is one of the most friendliest persons I have met!!! Every day there was a cleaning lady in our room. You can even cook if you want.

We stayed for 4 days with my wife and son at room number 5, it was such an incredibly well decorated 2 floor room, extremely spacey and comfy that we felt living in our own house! Manwlis the owner is a very helpful and nice guy always there to satisfy any request we had. The rooms have a stunning sea view in Girismata Beach, one of the greatest at the island. Hopefully we will come next year for more..

As a traveler and many times visitor at Skiros, a have to say that this place is the best till now .
