We rented a Beach Villa for 3 days and it was awful. They seem to not even be part of the hotel. The drive to the parking lot ends up being in the middle of nowhere with chickens and roosters and there isn’t even grass! These so called “villas” are the worst. Our room was Muggy and the floor was wet all the time. We dried with a towel every night and woke up to a soaked dirty floor. The walls were wet. The floor tile planks were popped up and loose. Our bathroom towels never dried and our belongings in our suitcase got wet too! The ceilings were moldy. And there was a cockroach in our room! The toilet got clogged and no one answered when we called the main number so we had to go in person to ask someone to fix it. All the restaurants where closed so the only option to eat was at the pool bar for lunch and it closed at 4pm. I understand covid restrictions, but if we would’ve known that there were no options to eat, we would’ve gone somewhere else. They couldn’t even give us coffee or coffee filters for our room. We chose to stay at a hotel rather than at an Airbnb so we could order room service or relax for a bit and we would’ve had a much better experience elsewhere. Waste of a drive from San Juan and a waste of our money. …
To start with, Check-in entailed standing inline for an hour. Nice way of assuring a guest not to come back. Plus, the property needs serious and extensive remodeling. Maintenance is shoddy. Went to spend a weekend. Won’t recommend, unless a remodeling is carried out.
This hotel needs an update and housekeeping needs to do a better job. In my room, the floor was very dirty and the showerhead was clogged with minerals for which I had to clean it so adequate water would flow. I am a frequent traveler and this hotel its too expensive for what you get. There are almost no amenities offered, no Smart Tvs in the rooms, and breakfast is not included. I have to say that customer service was great!
This is an “end of life” hotel where the aim is to extract the last bit of value. Don’t fall for the images. Pool is 3ft deep - it’s a paddling pool. No amenities. Rooms like a cheap motel. Avoid. We learnt that in rincon it’s best to rent an appt or air bnb etc. All hotels seemed poor. Also had money taken from our room and a strange man entered at 9:30 am on the 27th dec and then exited.
Stayed here on my first tour of Puerto Rico. I only stayed one night but I will say this; I could see myself enjoying that place for a few days. The location, setting, and pool were the attraction. Its also located in a quint location; not really a tourist trap. Not sure what all of the amenities were like, but based off what I saw, I would assume they are very good.
