I was planning a trip to Madrid and was told to check out the countryside as a nice contrast to the busy life in Madrid. A friend recommended Ronda because of its breathtaking views and historic culture. I am truly grateful that I found the Arriadh hotel. It was perfect for what I was looking for. As far as the... We loved everything about our stay at Arriadh Hotel!! The hotel itself is beautiful and cozy inside. It sits on top of a hill so the view of the hills and city are incredible. Wilbert was a great host. He made reservations for us at an amazing restaurant in town, and he also gave us all the information we needed... More

Having decided to visit Ronda and the white hill towns of Andalucia by car it seemed sensible to find a hotel in the countryside with easy parking. The Arriadh was a perfect choice. On arrival we were able to select our room. There are six decent sized bedrooms. Three on the ground floor have a conventional layout with access to... More

Great spot, professional and friendly owners. Wilbert and Jan happy to give advice on eating and touring around. We stayed 3 nights and used the Arriadh hotel (15 minutes walk and 2 minutes drive from the town of Arriate) as a base for exploring the Pueblo Blancos. The hotel has six rooms. We had an upstairs room with outstanding views... More

What can one say about this stunning hotel that others haven't ... From the initial communications with Wilbert by email to the final farewells at the end of our stay - this was a perfect experience. The hotel is situated on a beautifully secluded hillside with views to die for from the bedroom, terraces and swimming pool. The atmosphere inside... More

Originally booked for 2 nights, but extended to 3 nights as we liked the small hotel and area very much. The hosts are kind, relaxed and personable. We had a room upstairs with great sunset views of the sierra. If you are not ok with the open plan bathroom, they offer more traditional rooms downstairs. Breakfast is abundant and we... More

We stayed here for a long weekend and had a great time. Our hosts were amazing and very helpful. We had dinner here a couple of times and that was lovely too. Its got nice rooms and a good pool, cracking views. Close to Ronda for those days trips and visiting the white towns. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Arriadh during our cycling tour of the white villages and were delighted to have done so. The hotel is about 15 minutes from Ronda which ensured we had peace and quiet. The location is fantastic if you are happy to walk 10 minutes to the most fantastic restaurant in Arriate (not to be missed) John and... More

As so many other reviewers have said, John and Wilbert are absolutely wonderful hosts willing to go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. Wilbert responded quickly to all my email questions, particularly those regarding the new ticket acquisition process for El Caminito del Rey. And although the hotel is somewhat out of the way, their clear directions and... More

Thank you so much for taking time to write this review. Great to know that when you are back in the area your preferred hotel is Arriadh. Also happy to hear that you liked your room. If guests do not want the room with the 'open plan bathroom' they can however always send a request to be placed in one... More

An exquisite place run by lovely people; exceptional level of service and hospitality, in a beautiful house looking out to the gorgeous white mountains. Just a few minutes drive to Ronda. If you have the chance to have dinner, take it! We took advantage of the roof terrace to star-gaze. And this little hotel was the only one we found... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
SUNSETS & SECLUSION Blink in disbelief at the majestic views and glorious sunsets visible from this luxury six-bedroom hotel. On a hill above a picturesque Andalucian village and surrounded by beautiful vistas, the choice is yours: retreat into the hotel's peace, or trot out for Tapas? It's a toughie. LOCATION Arriadh Hotel is a brisk walk from the village of Arriate and is just 6km from the town of Ronda, which famously perches on the edge of a 100m deep canyon. Surrounded by arable farmland and with views of mountain peaks, the hotel is wrapped in landscaped terraces and, in 2015, a planned pool will complete the package. A key aspect of this hotel is that it enjoys the best of both worlds. You could easily spend a few days here and barely brush with civilisation enjoying the seclusion of the hotel and an occasional trot down the hill for local Tapas, or you could use this as a base for exploring the plethora of activities and places of interest in Ronda and its surrounding area. ... more   less
