As soon as we walked through the door we knew we were going to love our stay in Ronda. The colourful courtyard was very charming and attractive. Anahid, our hostess was not able to meet us on arrival but the instructions were welcoming and we soon made ourselves at home. The rooms were exceptionally tidy and every amenity provided even...

Dear Jeff Thank you for taking the time to write such a 'delightful' review! I'm glad you appreciated Baraka and its cakes! I enjoy traveling myself and tried to create a space for travelers that was comfortable and a little different. Hope all's well with you and yours. Thanks again. Anahid

Great location at the edge of the old town. Pretty room with double beds, artistic touches, a small table with a kettle to make tea and coffee, windows with shutters, a ceiling fan, and a pleasant bathroom. Breakfast needs improvement, not because of its content (although it was a simple breakfast), but because of its location. This B & B...

For all travellers who like a place with charecter, full of artistic charms, amazing books, pictures and memories, Baraka is Anahid's house which she has graciously let us experience as a home away from home. Throughout the stay we felt we were living through her aesthetics, pictures, books and memories. Especially in the wonderul suite where the windows overlook cypress...

Dear Jaya The phrase 'beauty is in the eyes of the beholder' has never been truer than in your words to describe Baraka. You got out of it what was within you. Nevertheless, your words made me very emotional. Thank you. You are blessed with a lovely family. In fact I was thinking of you yesterday and was telling one...

We were really pleased to stay here. You enter from the street into a colourful and scented reception area which was full of flowers. The room, the facilities, the roof terrace are all good but the real star is Anahid. She has loads of local knowledge with some excellent recommendations for eating out. Whilst we were there she took us...

Dear 'Avila' Thank you for your positive critique of Baraka. I am glad you enjoyed some aspects of it and voiced suggestions for making it better. As you mentioned, because of the 3 rooms and the limited table space (4 people) sometimes it's difficult to accommodate everyone's wishes. I do my best. Also, Baraka is a B&B and thus doesn't...

Spent two nights in Ronda at Baraka with my wife. This is a cozy, homey B & B in the old part of town. The owner, Anahid, was very welcoming and provided excellent advice on local sites and restaurants. My only gripes (and they're minor) would be a stronger wifi signal that extended into the rooms and "do not disturb"...

Dear Chris Thank you for taking the time to write your comments on TripAdvisor and your kind words. I am glad you enjoyed your stay in Ronda and Baraka. I'm taking note of the 'do not disturb' sign... I am sorry that you did get disturbed. As to the wifi, these thick walls somehow interfere... I also enjoyed your stay...

This is the place to go for jaded travellers yearning for a B&B where they can feel at home. It mirrors the warm personality of owner-operator Anahid. Ana as we call her welcome us from the first moment and left a lasting impression on my wife and I. There is something about the place that is so peaceful and inviting....

This is a very comfortable B & B with everything you need. The rooms are decorated in an artistic way. There’s an attractive rooftop terrace with excellent views. Breakfast is included and is very good. The location is brilliant – in the old town and close to the Puente Nuevo. The owner, Anahid, is welcoming and very friendly. Her recommendations...

Dear Maureen Thank you very much for your lovely review. I appreciate it very much. I also enjoyed your stay here with Amy. It was a surprise that Baraka was recommended by Anais (correct name?). I hadn't seen her nor heard from her for ages. Anyway, thanks again and hope all's well for you. Love Anahid
