The Hotel is located in a truly spectacular location. I have written a fair detailed review based on my experience here. Some of it is good ,some not so good We brought some friends to this hotel and they were thrilled with the setting .the hotel has its own little church as well as a bullring, which appeared to be...

We stayed in this lovely hotel for just one night, along our cycling route. The setting is quiet, surrounded by farmland and beautiful views. The hotel and grounds are stunning. The swimming pool was beautifu - though a bit too chilly for us at the time. The rooms were spacious with great views, exceptionally clean and tidy. We ate at...

The location of this hotel is stunning. It is a place to relax and unwind. Other than the occasional goat bell you are surrounded by silence, it's blissful. Make time to visit some of the white villages close by, but be prepared for some challenging roads!

The room was clean and in a very good state, but no hair dryer and no wifi unless we go down near reception (or swimming pool!). The staff was not rude but neither friendly, nor helpful! We ate at the restaurant: be ready for some waiting and meat rather than vegetables! Breakfast buffet rather plain: tasteless cheese and low quality...

Second year of visiting the hotel for an evening meal. Can't comment on the accommodation but seemed very clean and attractive. Beautiful setting sitting on the terrace and watching the sun go down over the lake and Zahara Castle. Very polite and attentive staff and the food was very good. I would recommend the deep fried aubergines drizzled with cane...

Cortijo Salinas is beautifully located, the views are magnificent and the area is very pleasant. I believe though that the hotel cannot decide what it wants to be - a rural retreat or a 4 star hotel - neither works just yet. The outdoor pool is clean and pleasant, though would be too small if the hotel had been fully...

We stayed here for 2 nights while on a cycling tour through the pueblos blancos. The hotel is in a quiet setting in the country. We had a beautifully appointed room with a nice terrace with fantastic view over the lake. We loved the rain shower in the bathroom! So great after a day of cycling. Too bad they didn't...

The strong point is the location. About 10 minutes by car from Zahara with superb view of lake village. The place by itself is a bit mixed. The common areas (bar, restaurant) are quite rustic and seem a bit old. However the room (#23) was a very positive surprise. Good furniture and good bathroom (shower only). The terrace had a...

Nice place, friendly great wifi food pretty good. There was a nice common room which was nice to hang out in, also we were on a bike trip so found the large comfortable room very inviting after a long day of biking.

Each year 6 of us have a couple of nights away in different places. This year, however, we were a little disappointed. The hotel, position and area are all excellent however the problem was we booked an all inclusive deal of dinner bed and breakfast for a certain price - big mistake. After looking at the menu and choosing we...
