The two rooms are right on top of a very busy a road, which woke me several times in the night. The room was smallish but nice and clean enough. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good but my sleep quality was terrible- some sound insulation is required.

The food and hospitality are good. However, it close too often during daytime hours. You only know by an open or closed sign outside. I have planned to stop there for lunch only to find it closed. It sells local ciders to drink in or to take away. When open though a good country pub with good food. Offers b&b...

If you want over priced frozen food, then this is the place for you. Very disappointed. Iceland is better. 1 happy staff member and 1 miserable The place was empty on a Saturday evening, only stopped as on the way home, wish I had gone to a fast food place

Fantastic food at a great price. Very good menu to choose from with an excellent allergy guide that should be compulsory everywhere and despite my regular visits to restaraunts almost daily is the first time I have come across it, A very welcome find. Friendly welcoming staff and a great selection of beers. The venue isn't that inviting, However this...

Looks nothing from the outside but what a lovely surprise when you enter inside! A friendly welcome is indeed given. Cozy, warming, with a nice dinning area or you can sit in the bar and have your meal. A small but well cooked menu, fish pie, faggots, shepherds pie, and my favourite rabbit stew but to name just a few....

Impromptu stop on the way back after a day at the beach and watching Yeovil air show. We enjoyed a lovely cream tea in the beautiful gardens, and chatted to the locals. A really friendly pub serving lots of real ales. They also show sky sports in the bar area. Definitely worth a stop if you're passing - with lots...

We visited on a weekday lunchtime. The pub next to a busy road looked welcoming from the outside nice flowers around the premises. We received a friendly greeting and duly chose from the wide selection on the reasonably priced menu. There was also a wide selection of beers and ciders available. Food was good pub food and the landlord (...

We had the two rooms as twins and each room was very well appointed, clean and comfortable and well heated. Friendly bar and good service. Ate an evening meal and breakfast (which we ordered the night before) and both were tasty. Unlikely I am ever to be in this part of the country again - but if I was, I...

A cosy and comfortable bed and breakfast which is part of a bar restaurant. Set in a really pretty area it provided a good stop-over during our trip. The owners, Mr and Mrs Newman are very welcoming and helpful and the meals are really good value. We enjoyed faggots and peas with mashed potato and it was delicious. Included in...
