We stayed for a week at the campground using all the facilities and had a great stay.
The camp spots are mostly in a wooded area next to a stream. There is some noise at night from the power plant, but mostly the sounds of...More
This was a return visit to Chena hot springs. Had never stayed at the hotel. Have

Unique place to visit. Rent a car and enjoy the ride into Alaskan wilderness. Hotel is overpriced. You can enjoy the Hot Springs and the Environmental Center while spending the night in Fairbanks for a lot less money. No a/c, can get stuffy and warm...More

We rented a car in Anchorage for the two weeks we were in Alaska. There are tours that will take you to Chena Hot Springs, however a car gives you the flexibility to stop and enjoy and photograph the beautiful scenery and wildlife as you want. The grounds at the Hot Springs are beautiful. The ice sculpture igloo is a must see, also the sled dog kennel. Time did not permit us a horseback ride through the area. It was a fun Alaska adventure.
