After a busy few months with work and grand-parenting duties we managed a short 2 night break and chose the Ferrycarrig Hotel. Having stayed there before we were familiar with the scenic location and the proximity to the beautiful Rosslare Strand and Wexford Town. Arrived on a Friday evening and greeted with a truly warm and genuinely friendly reception from...

I have stayed at the Ferrycarrig many times since 1998 but have not returned in the past 7 years due to a change of job. Having gone back much remained the same - the charming building, quirky layout, amazing views and friendly staff are still there, I'm pleased to say. I know from staff that the hotel is undergoing some...

The property is in a beautiful location with plenty of outdoor seating if it wasn't raining! The staff are all very friendly and very helpful. We ate in the bar and the food was good and again the service was excellent. Breakfast is a very good buffet. It's a great hotel for a family trip.

Enjoyed some exercise on the Leisure centre, and had a fabulous Massage and Facial in the Spa. All topped off with an excellent dinner...

When we arrived, we discovered that the allocated room was around 80m from the lift - not good as my wife cannot walk very far. The reception staff quickly arranged a much more suitable alternative room and helped with the transfer of our luggage. The room was very comfortable with a large balcony with views over the river. Dinners were...

We stayed here for a weekend and it was quite lovely. The room was large and comfortable. And had a fabulous big balcony to relax on and enjoy the view of the lake, watching the birds or just getting some sun. The location is handy for a scenic walk along the water into Wexford town which we did as it...

“Rooms on level 3 are on the same level as the car park and reception so you don't need the lift to bring in your luggage. Higher floors have better views of the river and a balcony is more secure than a ground floor patio.”
