The hotel rooms were basic but very clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and the gentleman on the breakfast staff was amazing! (I neglected to get his name) the staff was great. As an African American traveler, I did not experience many warm greeting throughout my stay in PR other than this hotel with the exception of the gentleman who bartended for the nightly cocktails. He basically was about to watch me make my own drink because he didn’t want to the sprinkles of rain to hit him.

Stayed July 15 till 20 and I must say I felt special once inside lobby,everyone greeted me and was smiling. Checking in the clerk explained everything from a-z to me and asked if I had any questions. Once in room it was very clean bed was heavenly and ac was cold. Pool was very clean as was area around it. The poolside bar had great drinks and food and Javier the bartender n cook was very great and made sure all your expectations were met. Cause of his personality we went eat at the grill more than expected. Overall our stay was fabulous.

We booked just a one night stay for onward travel from the nearby airport. The room was very expensive (a Saturday at Easter). I just had to overlook this as a necessary evil. Our room was noisy because of people talking in the room next door. There was a connecting door with poor or non-existent sound insulation. In fact it sounded as though the people talking were in our room! In order to mask their sound so we could sleep we switched on the climate control fan. The downside was that our room got colder and colder. The thermostat appeared to have a setting for fan WITHOUT cooling, but I could not get this feature to work. So, not a pleasant night of sleep. The bed itself was confortable. and the athroom acceptable. I tried to print a boarding pass in the business suite but the instructions were wrong. At the reception the staff printed my boarding passes and admitted that the instructions in the business suite were out of date. Breakfast was just typical US motel fare. …

Location is perfect, close to the beach, staff is very polite and courteous, pool is awesome also has a swim-up bar and grill, place is very very clean. Restaurants and night life is very very close by.

Went for a R and R and got it!!! Enjoy the entire experience and all of the staff was great. The entire hotel was extremely clean.Breakfast was great.We would definitely recommend staying at this hotel for business purposes or just for family vacation. It’s located close to many restaurants and we Uber to Old San Juan took only 12 minutes.

Had a flight canceled on Sunday and couldn't fly out til Tuesday. Found Hampton Inn very close to airport. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Had a nice outdoor pool with a swim up bar and grill. Very affordable food! Would reccomend staying there when in the area

So many good things to say. the ‘restaurant’ is a couple of guys running a grill at the pool bar. The food, especially if you eat meat, is amazing. All fresh cooked and delicious. The pool is sparkling. The deck chairs are comfy. There is a 5pm happy hour with snacks and drinks. The rooms are exactly what you’d expect from a big hotel chain. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the breakfast has fresh cut fruit. It’s awesome.

I have never experienced a bad Hampton inn and this one was filthy. The room still had left over garbage and a used crumpled laundry bag. The pool area was filthy with dirt grime on the cushions. I would not recommend staying here at all. Location is great - close to airport, restaurants and other resorts.

We actually went here a couple times . Before our Celebrity cruise and after we were at our time share. So we stayed 3 days the first time and 2 days after the time share . We would have stayed another day in between the Cruise and time share but they were booked up and we ended up at Doubletree. As for all the Hampton Inns we have ever stayed at I have to say this is our favorite out of them all. They offered things I have never seen at other Hampton Inns. The people at the desk are very helpful. The guy outside took all our luggage in and they held them until our room was ready. Room was fine clean. Has a small fridge. Only downside is no microwave, which would have been nice to have had to heat up leftovers . They had HBO channels so plenty to watch. The free breakfast was decent. Had 3 hots every morning. Different every morning. One morning they had half bagels with eggs , cheese and bacon on them. Never saw that at a HI before . They had a really good ringed sausage cut into coins one day. Reminded us of Hillshire Farms sausage rings. They had Dark coffee but I really liked the light brew they had that too. We never had an issue finding a seat. There is a pool with a really nice pool bar and grill. We never had an issue sitting near there and getting something. Prices very reasonable there . We would get a decent sized smoothie like Banana and Strawberry my wife got and i got Banana and Chocolate . These were $5 each . The Quesadillas were very good. Takes awhile to get but worth it. We would get Steak and a Chicken Quesadilla and 2 smoothies and split a fry. This was like $42 or so . If you are going to eat there go about 4 PM and here is why. The biggest thing they give i have never seen at any Hampton Inn is between 5-7 PM every night except Sunday. Between those hours they have free Snacks and Drinks . That includes different alcohols !!!! I have never seen free alcohol at any HI ever. Snacks were alternated every other day . Nachos and Cheese and Peanuts one day and Peanuts and Plantains and Peanuts. I am not a big Plantains fan but i did like the nachos and hot cheese . The alcohol normally was a specialty drink like rum and mango and beers and different wines. I also give the front desk props because they went looking for us to tell us our room was ready early. Which was nice. There are restaurants closeby . There is a small souvenir shop out the front across the street to the left easily walking distance. A Sports bar and grill a bit down more across the street to the left easily walking distance too. This was a bit more pricewise then other HIs but if I would happily stay here again. …
