3 families chose to stay for the weekend in this property. We booked 3 rooms. They offered us 2 premium and 1 classic for 105 Euros each. To much our dissappointment, the classic room is too classic... The room 1 is at the old building (built in 1800) therefore it had no light, no windows, it smelled awfully. Our children started crying... they didn't want to sleep in "jail". I complained to the manager and he said the hotel was fully reserved...he couldn't do anything! When i said that I am willing to pay more...he said he didn't have any other room otherwise he would offer it. We were deeply sorry and the kids were annoyed. However, after a few hours he found "the suite"! Magically, there was a cancelation... but we paid 150 Euros for this room.... 50% more. The breakfast had variety but the quality was poor. I don't want to come back and I don't recommend it. For 150 Euros, you can definetely find a better place to stay in zagorochoria in November.

The hotel is located in one of the best corners in the village. It offers really magnificent views of the adjacent mountain line and in the Summer (when we visited) you can enjoy these views seating outside at the balcony of the breakfast area. It is a traditional guesthouse with all the amenities that modern life demands but of course with the challenges that old-style rooms had in the times. We loved the experience but you should also become comfy with being a little bit squeezed when for example you have to walk through a narrow opening. The staff is truly amazing. So kind and always there to help you. This means a lot and I think made our overall stay even more special. Definitely, a place I recommend visiting and staying at. If I had to change something I would probably work on getting a richer breakfast buffet.

Stayed 3 nights, overall the mansion is nice and service is friendly. However it was too cold as the windows are made of wood and a lot of breeze is entering the room. So watch out if your bed is by the window.

Stayed in this hotel during the end of January. The room was on the same floor as the entrance, with a fireplace. The beds are almost on the floor, which is traditional for the area. In general the experience was quite good with some minor points that I didn't like. First, there is not enough sound insulation, so you may hear what is going on in the next or above room, and second water pressure in the shower was not enough for a good bath. I used the fireplace everyday, cause at this time of the year there is snow outside. The breakfast was excellent and more than adequate! General comment: If you plan to visit by the end of January/beginning of February, beware that there may be few restaurants available in the village to have something to eat. In that case there is always a small store open on the city center where you may have a cheese-pie from the lady call Alexandra.

Friendly staff, very helpful, very good breakfast with fresh ingredients. We loved the room and the location is nice for Zagorohoria. I would visit again. The only issue was with the heat but we informed the managers and fixed it. Parking is easy.

This is a lovely looking hotel in a lovely village. The staff are professional, helpful and friendly but I don't think I have ever stayed in such an uncomfortable place. The double bed in our room was in a corner so one person had to climb over the other. This was even more difficult as the bed was basically on the floor, with a wooden "trim". The bathroom was one step up but the door frame was not, so bumped heads were easy. The room had only one seat, a small rush covered stool and of course you couldn't really sit on the bed. You could go to the lounge/common area of the hotel but they had only an uncomfortable built in "couch" or rush covered tavern type chairs. It's really a shame that such a lovely place was not very relaxing.

We recently stayed in this nice property on a trip through Zagoria. The accommodation was good, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the owners were attentive when present. Restaurants are few here and this was perhaps my less enjoyable village during the trip. The breakfast was good but I wish it could be more varied.
