To wake up each morning and look out over beautiful Hanson Bay was an absolute treat. In spite of the freezing water we couldn't help but go in for a quick dip every day. The cliff walk to the rear of the cabins was also very lovely. Access to Flinders Chase National Park is good from this location. However, the cabin...

Thankyou for visiting we are sincerely sorry about the potato peeler and grater. FYI the cabins can be booked by large groups and sometimes things go walkabout and end up in another cabin and sometimes these items don't get spotted before the next guest arrives. We are sorry for that. We try hard to keep things straight but In the unlikely...

Hanson Bay is gorgeous and the cabins provide a beautiful view overlooking the bay. The cabins have a nice grill and free laundry use. I also loved the Hanson Bay hiking trail right by the cabin! It is an 18km hike and very pretty; lots of interaction with kangaroos. I loved supporting the wildlife conservatory and the nocturnal walk was...

We really enjoyed the quiet and solitude especially as there was only one other cabin occupied during our stay. Everything you need even a washing machine and a BBQ but perhaps the older cabins are ready for a makeover. We still enjoyed the stay with little touches like the fire being ready to light on arrival just adding that bit...

We stayed in the older cabins which at $170 p.n was a lot for you got! The double bed was tired and hard. the kitchen equipment needs updating as does most of the interior. There was a blackout on our arrival and there was only one torch and three tea light candles...luckily for us the power resumed just before total...

Thanks for visiting. In July 2015 we have installed queen beds and done renovations both internal and external. I am confident that you will have better experience next time you visit. Also we recommend that you try the new cabins opened at Easter 2015

We have stayed at Hanson bay cabins with friends almost every April for the last 10 years. Love the solitude and amazing views. Cabins are basic and starting to get very jaded but comfortable enough. Don't rely on phone reception as this is very patchy to non existent. We always stay with friends taking up all four cabins and eat...

We fell in love with our little cabins overlooking Hanson Bay during our 3 night stay. A group of 4 girl friends we took two cabins to have a bedroom each but socialised and ate all our meals together in one as the long dining table and open plan kitchen and living area was the perfect place to share our...

Our decision to stay in these cabins was one of our better ones for our recent Kangaroo Island trip. The location is sublime: overlooking quiet Hanson Bay, which we had to ourselves for much of our time there. We were also pleasantly surprised with the accommodation itself. The cabin was spacious with comfortable living space, and a master bedroom that...

We stayed at the cabins for 5 night and loved it. Their location at the end of the road, overlooking Hanson Bay, is amazing. The cabin we were in had 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin. the kitchen area had most things you would need - electric hobs, oven, grill, microwave, fridge/freezer and a reasonable selection of utensils and...

W (2 adults, 2 young children) stayed for 3 nights. The view from the cabins is incredible with a beautiful beach just a stone's throw from the front door. There are also some great walking trails accessible from the beach, which we used and enjoyed. The cabins, although basic, were a great escape from everyday life. A great log fire...

The view from the cabins is very impressive - a beautiful seaside setting overlooking a quiet beach with white sand. An excellent location for someone looking for a quiet wilderness getaway. The log cabins are OK and there is a nice wide verandah overlooking the beach scenery. Our bedroom had a double bed and so it was a bit small...

Thanks for visiting. I am sorry that you do not appreciate the isolated wilderness setting. We have now added queen beds and done some renovations inside and out and have fixed the problems you identified.
