Stayed at this motel for 3 nights on a tour with our Probus club. Motel rooms were clean, comfortable beds, excellent view overlooking the coastline, very quiet. Very impressive restaurant with amazing views, excellent meals and great service. Overall a very enjoyable tour with our host Mike who doubles as the barman in restaurant. Suggest you need a guide to...

This restaurant has a great viewing deck for sunset and wallabies. The menu features local King Island produce. May I recommend the King Island cheese platter to end the meal. However check the price of the crayfish as it varies according to the season.

Overlooking the picturesque local golf course and rugged coastline of King Island, this hotel is so we'll run. The accommodation is average but comfortable but the food and service at their restaurant is superb. Can highly recommend the deep fried Camembert made with the famous K. I. cheese. Lobster is also an option. With the opening of the amazing Cape...

The first thing you see on entering the dining room is the view, and it is really something. The next thing that gets you is the wine list - the prices are seriously great - we had the superb 2011 Moores Hill Cab Merlot (what else but Tassie wine in tassie) for $20 - that is a serious bottle of...

The main problem we had was the amount of commerically pre-made items. I'd bet there was a very high proportion of canned soup in the soup, gravox or similar used for the gravy, packet custard and I'd guess, canned or frozen pudding. Then there was the lack of co-ordination of timing with there being no rolls for the soup, no...

We did not stay here but had dinner in the dining room. Food was excellent and service very good. Drinks were reasonable. Quantity and quality first class. Can recommend this place for a meal. The views are spectacular and overlook a golf course and shore line in daylight.

We arrived early from the airport the room wasn't ready but the staff were very helpful and ensured we could change for golf and leave our bags. The room was lovely with a fabulous view over the King Island golf and Bowling club to the sea beyond. The room was newly renovated and the bed comfortable. it was very quiet....

I stayed with 2 friends at Shannon cottage - which overlooks the Currie harbour. (Located at the other end of the harbour to the motel). It was very comfortable and very well equiped with all requirments. It had a very pleasant outlook and was very peaceful. We drove to the motel restaurant one evening and we had a very nice...

The Wave Watcher units are separate to the motel complex and close to the light house. They offer great 2 storey accommodation for couples or more with privacy and lovely views. They have good cooking facilities and walking access to the restaurant. Lots of birds and wildlife. Ideal for 2 couples booking both units next to each other. Definitely a winner.

Would not stay at this property again anytime of the year. The views from the motel units are of the golf course and the water which is one of the only good points. The rooms have been refurbished at some stage and are clean but very basic. We only had one rubbish bin for tea and coffee making and bathroom...
