All freshly carved and top with a baked apple. I choose a nice dry house white wine. To follow l had plum pudding and home made custard. Christmas in July would be perfect as they have...

We had a lamb roast (the hotel's version) and crumbed sausages. Both were delicious. There was music playing and a nice open fire. The atmosphere is very relaxed and pub style. An awesome place for a Sunday lunch.

Fantastic pub great atmosphere amazing food couldn't ask for anything more. Would highly recommend the "pub grub" I didn't order it this time I got the Parma which was beautiful but the "pub grub" looked awesome. We also got the massive garlic and cheese focaccia to share it was yummy.

Had a tip from some locals to have lunch here, wasn't disappointed. Quality meals, warm country service, credible wine list and relaxing garden to enjoy a few quite beers. Can't go wrong, will stop again.

Enjoyed the decor but the dining area was too dimly lit to comfortably read the menu without 20/20 vision. Staff were a bit cold and the food was alright but nothing amazing. Choc pudding was a bit bland. Some smarties from a staff member for the little one ended the night on a positive.

A great country pub, close to Ballarat just off the highway. A group of us dined there for an evening meal recently and all 7 enjoyed our meals. The staff and owners were very friendly. We are keen to try out the Sunday afternoon live music and roast around the big open fire.

Based on a recommendation, my partner and I visited the Wallace Hotel over the long weekend (pre Australia Day), and were really impressed with the elements that made it so good, and very different from other pubs. So good, was the experience over lunch that we returned Saturday evening for dinner. We booked via phone earlier in the afternoon, and...
