We stayed there for 8 nights. We were impressed by the landscape and the quality of the beach when we got there: really nice first impression of a peaceful natural island, with turtles everywhere. The hotel is fairly well integrated in the vegetation, and the woods in the room are pleasant. Staff was very helpful and friendly, took the extra mile...

Beautiful little hotel right on the beach. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. All rooms are beach from and have huge screened in balconies. Great wifi property wide. The staff were all friendly. There is a great little beach bar. The snorkeling wasn't bad right off the beach.

Great staff and great pizza! Recommend both to all yachties. Would not stay here, as the beach and bay is not spectacular and there is nothing to do in Canouan. The sun only reaches the hotel after 10am...

My husband and I were there December 2014. Our room was beautiful, ocean front everything you could want. The bar and restaurant were great, friendly and relaxing. Definitely a place to decompress and relax! Highly recommend!

Rooms are nice, all of them on the beach. You can hear the sea constantly. Which I found relaxing, maybe bothersome for others. Staff in the pirate cove are friendly. Staff at the beach bar are rude, any order is too much... This destroys the atmosphere on the beach.

We knew it was going to be a good stay when we first got there and said wish we could stay longer. Beautiful situation on beach, ticked falling asleep to crashing waves from the bucket list, really friendly staff who went above the call of duty. Great deli on site. Island tour worth taking to see this stunning island. Otherwise...

This is a beautiful place. The owners are wonderful. Food is some of the best in the Caribbean. You have to try the pizza. The owners are Italian and the pizza is made in a wood fire pizza oven. If relaxation and a picturesque view are what you are after then this is the place to go.

I am longing to return to Canouan. I was able to relax and also get a bit of work done during my last trip. I really enjoyed myself and my hubby did too. Worst part of the trip was the fresh (rude) fishies (small ones) that try to swim under your swim suit, lol

Make sure you get a spa...

Go to Tamarind at your own risk. My husband and I were infected with the arborvirus, Chikungunya. We both suffered from fever and joint pain which lasted two weeks. The hotel was quite shabby and needs refurbishing. The food was mediocre. The staff, however, was friendly.

We stayed at Tamarind Beach Hotel for 3 nights of our honeymoon in St Vincent and the Grenadines. From the very beginning we were treated really well - all the staff knew our names and that we were on honeymoon, and nothing was too much trouble. The room overlooked the beach and was beautifully presented, with fresh flowers every evening....
