Excellent spar hotel, great value for money. Lovely setting & great hosts. Only disappointment was the beds squeaky matteress & very thin (I'm only tiny & felt the slats of the bed) please invest in premier beds.

Wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the facilities (Spa and Gym) were fantastic. The room was very comfortable and as for the food, the chef went out of his way to accommodate us, which is no easy task given that my wife is gluten and dairy free!!! We will definitely be going again...

My wife and I visited this very "wedding-oriented" hotel a couple of weeks ago on a "groupon" deal and left with distinctly mixed feelings. On the plus side, our room was clean and comfortable with a cute little balcony which offered a fantastic view of the grounds (and the nearby M5) and most of the staff were helpful and friendly....

The food in the restaurant was okay, working in a hotel restaurant myself I could tell that the staff were not used to serving so many people (there were only 30ish) and the food took a long time (over 2 hours for a 3 course meal). The spa was nice but not very relaxing, the steam room wasn't working one...

We found ourselves staying at Rookery Manor to enjoy a wedding; however that enjoyment was far from fulfilled by the hotel. We were disappointed with the condition of the room that we stayed in. The bathroom was in a very poor state of disrepair and dirty, with dirty water coming out of the Jacuzzi bath when switched on. The room...

Our stay was good. The room was a bit awakward to get around as very little space between the end of the bed and the wall to get to dressing table and curtains. The bed was not very comfy at all and made a lot of noise . The bathroom door didn't open properly and we kept hitting it forgetting...

My wife and I booked an out of season two night deal. The room we wanted was a deluxe double but they were all booked, so for just £25 we upgraded to a suite. This was lovely, especially the recently upgraded bathroom. The staff were very helpful and attentive and service was excellent. The food was delicious and well prepared...

Rookery Manor is an excellent place to spend a couple of relaxing days. Perfect for those who like a bit of pampering. We didn't try out any of the treatments, but enjoyed the hot tub and the spa pool, although we would have liked to have had more of a swim as well, had the pool been bigger! Good walks...

Lovely friendly and comfortable stay in a peaceful and tranquil setting. Excellent food and service. Spa facilities good but temperature of hot tub could be warmer. Nice clean spacious room with comfortable beds and good furnishings and facilities.

Thank you for your kind comments. I am sure you will appreciate that every individual will have a different perspective about the temperature of the hot tubs - we have published guidelines to the staff about the temperatures the hot tubs should be set at. On some cold days however, because our hot tubs are outside it is possible if...
