I called in today while walking on the North Downs Way. It's about 10/15 minutes off the path. Only had a couple of pints but there was a good selection of local beers. The two I tasted were both very well kept. It's very clean and although I didn't see the rooms it would be very convenient for walkers on...

Nicely renovated pub, very cosy, huge garden, friendly and efficient staff, excellent food, generous portions, everything is perfect. I can t wait to come back. It s a little gem. I had the best fish and chips I ever had; tartare sauce was excellent. My partner had a massive and fresh Stilton ploughman with warm baguette. Thank you so much...

Booked a table for four with friends for an evening meal. Lovely food, good selection of beers. Reasonably priced. Recommended. The gardens are really good. The area if you fancied a stroll are of outstanding beauty

Stayed a Saturday night and the room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Only downside was the noise of the plumbing system. Food was good and choice of beers wide. Breakfast was also excellent. A lovely quiet country retreat

Just popped in for a Friday night early dinner! Lived in this part of Kent for years, how come we have never discovered this place, great food, great service, we will be back! Looks like they have rooms to let too although we are probably too close to justify staying

We went to the Bowl Inn as the only place we could easilly find in a short time. What a good choice. Alex andd Zoe were perfect staff. Food first class and the dog friendly room perfect for our needs. If you have no dog it is spotless. Mobile phones struggle to work inside although work when outside. That suited...

There were children running around the dining area from around 7.00 to 9.00 opening and shutting the fire exit door to go in and out (and we could not move tables) there were also 2 dogs laying under the table next to us (we like dogs but not where people are eating) Customers at the bar were smoking electronic cigarettes...

Could not have had a more friendly welcome and delightful stay. It was Easter weekend and Hurricane Kate hit the area so my checkout time was extended to make sure the roads were clear. Kept cosy by the huge log fire and coffee and biscuits were provided. Food was very good and not over pricey. Would highly recommend.
