Absolutely superb. My first visit to Pyrenees and I loved every second. Marie-Cecile looked after us so well and was so welcoming and charming. Her house is gorgeous and the meals she creates with local produce and real passion are memorable. Waking to the cowbells, village clock and local rooster was a treat to be savoured each morning looking forward... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Maison Cadet. Marie-Cécile speaks English as well as French (she kindly spoke French with us!) and we felt perfectly at home. Lovely breakfasts by an open fireplace which was welcome on the rainy mornings in early March. We were grateful for the helpful information Marie-Cécile provided us about interesting nearby villages... More

An amazing experience. If the idea of a French B&B for a single twosome sounds ideal, then Maison Cadet will not disappoint. Owner Marie-Cécile will wine, dine, and host you like you're a long lost cousin. We spent a few days exploring the region on road bikes, feet, and motorized wheels, and the location was perfect for everything from epic... More

A truly magical French experience provided by Marie-Cecile was a highlight of our holiday to France. The meals were exquisite, the wine wonderful and her company a delight. The rooms were beautifully appointed and well presented and her assistance in recommending local attractions most welcome.

We stayed for a few nights with Marie-Cecile and had dinner on most of those. Our stay was excellent and we were made to feel very much at home. The room and bathroom were very clean, comfortable and homely. The meals Marie-Cecile prepared were extremely good - very generous, very good quality local ingredients and very tasty. A very warm welcome from Marie-Cecile (who speaks English). Lovely clean, spacious room, and great, home-cooked food. Lots to do in the area, especially if you like hiking/ biking (Port de Bales is easily assessible). Great place for a romantic weekend away with a loved one.

We first stayed with Marie Cecil 3 years ago and have come back ever since. Her meals, witty conversion and ability to make you feel like you are at home is worth more then gold. We are avid cyclists and her dedication to finding new routes for us, feeding us and washing cycling kit just makes our trips so easy.... More

If your wanting a comfortable and relaxing time with spectacular scenary, this is the place for you. Marie-Cecile made us feel like part of her family and each day would give us advice on where to go. If you get there, ask if you can visit the tree houses. They are amazing.

Fabulous base in a small village to explore both the French and Spanish Pyrenees- host was very accomodating of my schedule, including a late breakfast when I went out for a bike ride into the mountains. This was a back up choice after my first choice was booked but glad I was able to find this.
