As the title says I was not happy about our visit here. We landed at Prague at 0100hrs (the hotel offered a taxi for €29 but it’s only €13 with Uber.).
The issue arose when we were give a single room EACH for me and...More
This small beautifully decorated Art Nouveau hotel was our favorite place to stay in Prague during our year of living in the Czech Republic (2016-17). The hotel offers well-appointed rooms and lovely breakfasts. The staff members are helpful, courteous, and always available. It is located...More
Inexpensive small rooms are just what I need when I'm visiting a new city. The basement restaurant is great for breakfasts, with lots of Czech pickled vegetables and so on rather than the usual sweet carbos. Also good coffee. It was pretty lonely when I...More
Nice hotel near city center. Friendly staff, but not so good breakfast. Good for this price. Room is not so big but we dont need more. If we come back in Prague we take this hotel one more time. Goodluck guyz.

Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighbourhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the
world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.

I did not rent a car during my stay at the Arkada Hotel Praha. Public transportation, bus and train, was readily available from the airport and throughout the city at very reasonable rates. The hotel was within a short walking distance to most attractions. Trains were available for distant places. I recommend calling the hotel for parking information.
